Always love the beano, whole family reads it. Not quite as thick as it used to be

My kid loves Beano comics so I'm trying to collect the whole collection. The condition of the book is 5.

All the favourites up to all the mischief possible. I could hear my son giggling & putting on the voices as he meticulously worked his way through every page

Deserves more stars. Still as good as 30-40 years ago. Problem was, my grandson does not like reading. Sent this annual to him, and now he reads it every night when he goes to bed. Now, when you have a child that is not actively encouraged to read, for him to pick up ANYTHING of his own accord and for him to read it without being asked is a HUGE winner. Well done for keeping this annual going for so long. Long may it continue.

My son loves the Beano annual. ...as we did as kids. It's the best, with the Danny annual a close 2nd. Both are a priority on my son's Christmas present list yearly. A lovely read of fun, laughter and images in comic form. An ideal way to stimulate boys to read independently. Ideal for young children and teenagers alike.

My 9 year old son is super picky about comics - he loves Calvin & Hobbes and Peanuts, but is indifferent to just about everything else. He loves Beano, and reads each book straight through several times. These are kid-oriented funny comics, and I can't quite think of anything in North America that is similar to the Beano. These books are a great value, and are well-made to stand up to multiple readings.

My kids love these books and they ain't even British!

This is another book my granddaughter thinks is wonderful.
