I held my breath when opening this ironing board, as it comes at a heck of a price. However, I’m pleased to report that it is probably worth the money. It is very sturdy, the wheels work well, and it doesn’t wobble. I was apprehensive as other reviews mentioned disappointment because of wobbling, but having ordered, and returned, two other (slightly less pricey) boards, I thought I would take the chance and take a look at this one. It does not disappoint. The only slight criticism is that I would prefer a thicker pad on the board, but that is easily rectified. Ironing is not my favourite pastime but this board will make it much more bearable.

At first I couldn't justify spending so much on an ironing board, but because of the money back return Amazon offer, I thought I'd see what it was like. This is an exceptional ironing board. Fantastic width with a taught cushioned top, totally sturdy and durable, an extra wide secure piece for the steam generator iron to sit on and it opens and closes easily, it also goes much higher than your normal ironing board so you can stand straight without bending over and for a tall lady like myself, makes ironing a lot easier. Definitely the kind of ironing board that would last a life time and would be a one off purchase for anybody.

A good quality unit the only down side it came a bit scratched, needs a bit more packaging to get to you in perfect condition as it’s not a £20 argos board

Very unstable

Super big sturdy board, just perfect for the laundry from my holiday let as I can do a king size quilt cover in 2 easy halves. It’s saving so much time, I wish I’d bought it sooner.

I wanted something a bit longer , for large sheets etc . I could not find such and had to settle for this product.

Looks great, I iron a lot so treated myself, unfortunately it has exactly the same problem that all other ironing boards have in that it wobbles, after much investigation it's caused by the metal rods settling unevenly when you adjust the lever upon opening the board, this can be rectified by putting the board on it's back and adjusting the metal rods as they slide through the slots, however this is annoying having to do every time, some people can probably cope with a bit of a wobble but it bugs me. I would have thought that as this ironing board was expensive then the mechanism would be improved, but it's exactly the same system for opening as the minky , addis etc. Good points are the slide out iron holder, it's great for steam irons and it makes the board a little shorter when it's folded in so it fits in the under stairs cupboard a bit better, the wheels are a nice touch, would be great for those with less mobility. I like the overall style, matt legs, and chunky design, looks almost like a piece of gym equipment. As all ironing boards have this issue, I won't be sending it back because otherwise the good points make the board satisfactory but that is all, taking into account the high price, I feel that 3 stars is fair to generous.

I have been using there two products for about 20 years in row! Not switching to anything else. Love it. Best ever. Quality, fantastic service, awesome ironing experience. Saves sooo much time and effort! Absolute love.

Llegó rota. Cuando intentamos abrirla, tenía 2 piezas de plástico rotas y esto hacía que no pudiera abrirse correctamente la tabla, por lo que era inservible. Además, las varillas metálicas que sujetan la tabla una vez se abre, estaban fuera de su sitio. No conocía esta marca (LauraStar), y quise darle un voto de confianza por las expectativas que me crearon otras opiniones, pero creo que me quedo con Polti y Brabantia, que me ofrecen más confianza, resistencia y calidad.

Sehr gut, wackelt etwas, aber wenn man was unter einen Fuss legt, ist es okay.... vielleicht, könnte man die Füsse höhenverstellbar anbieten......
