The main other candidates were the BlackVue DR750S and the Thinkware F800. Both are vastly more expensive, both are bigger and bulkier than the Goluk and the Goluk has better quality video (higher bitrate).I did think about getting them professionally fitted but I like tinkering and there are plenty of online DIY guides and videos, it also saved me about £150. It took me about an hour and a half to do the front camera, if I were to do it again probably 30-40 minutes.I also bought a plastic pry bar set  ARH Auto Accessories Door Panel Audio Refit Set Car Removal Tool Auto Door Clip Panel Trim Removal Tool Kits for Car Dash Radio Audio Installer Pry Tools , an OBD2 adapter to power the camera  REARMASTER Universal OBD Power Cable for Dash Camera,24 hours Surveillance with mode switch button (mirco-usb)  and a 64Gb card  SanDisk Ultra 64 GB MicroSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with SD Adapter - Frustration Free Packaging  (although the camera does come with a 16Gb card). My car's a Tesla Model S so no worries about the battery running down but the adapter I bought offers a low voltage cutoff to protect your battery.Very pleased with the camera, the video quality is excellent in both daylight and at night. The app works really well from your phone and is nice to use. It automatically records if it detects a bump from the g-sensor, this has adjustable sensitivity. It also has a small wireless remote button that I've tucked under the dash so it isn't visible but is easy to reach while driving, this records the segment before and after the button press, either 6 or 20 seconds each side, user configurable from the app. The parking mode also works very well, the camera detecting motion and again recording a segment centred on the event. The sound quality is also excellent. The camera does beep and talk to you but most of this can be disabled via the app if you don't want it, it isn't terribly obtrusive anyway.I can't comment on reliability or longevity but see no reason why it should be worse than any of its competitors. Really good value and very pleased with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very easy set up and works perfectly *by C***P on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 August 2017* I looked at many dash cams and wanted one which was discrete and had WiFi capability. I keep coming back to the Goluck range. I discounted the T2 on price and preferred the T1 to the T3. It only took me 20 minutes to set it up with wiring all concealed. A very easy set up and works perfectly. I also received an e mail asking if it had arrived and if I had any comments or questions. I had noticed an occasional bleep when cornering so queried this and received a very quick response ( lower the setting for g sensitivity) so impressive customer service. This is an excellent product. Only camera that has got the best wifi app. Can view the camera live and download previous clips while its recording. Download it to your phone/Ipad photo within minutes. You can also completely control the camera using your phone without the need to touch the camera. I have bought other dash cams from Halfords and gave them back as the app hardly worked.
