A good watch, but not great
I looked at this watch because I was in the market for something with a working week indicator. That ring around the edge that most YouTube reviewers say is a bit useless, well to some of us, it's incredibly useful.I'm an engineer at a big microchip company. Our marketing departments are obsessed with work weeks, or quarters. Nobody says that a chip will release in December, you'll hear ww50, or more likely, Q4 (since it sounds sooner). The calendar week dial around the edge means that you can not only tell the current ww, but also have a good guess about which month ww23 is, since there are helpfully 12 months in a year so they correspond roughly with the hour gaps, give or take a little offset. Similarly, the weeks belonging to each quarter are also pretty obvious, as is the number of weeks until Q3, for example. This function seems to be called a 'business timer' by other manufacturers, and that's why I guess. You don't have a lot of choice if you want this function. The are the Ronda 706.b based watches; such as this, the Frederique Constant, and a couple of others. Above that you've got the Oris 113, at about £4k, then there's a Patek. If you need to know how much that costs then..... You know the rest.I wanted to love this watch, and it's really not bad. The blue dial shines, but not as well as my Seiko 5, the heavily domed plastic crystal suits the watch (I don't think the curvature is achievable in any form of glass, and it can be polished if scratched). The Zeppelin boarding pass guarantee card is a lovely touch, but there's a 'but' coming. As in sure you've guessed from the score.I didn't love the watch. It didn't give me the feeling that I'd be proud to show it off if asked about it at work. The biggest failing is the second hand not hitting the markers. This wasn't just sloppy assembling, it would land in different places on each lap, so there is something up with the movement. I suspect that's why Frederique Constant deleted the second hand from their version. In addition, the border around the moon phase enclosed bits of dial on the corners. That looks lazy. The dial also looks very flat. Nothing is applied, and that makes it look cheap (maybe that's from the intentional vintage styling, in which case, you might be fine with that). These are nitpicky points, but I warned you that I'm an engineer. We worry about those tiny details, and it was enough to sever any emotional connection to the watch. I do think that sloppy seconds are not appropriate on any watch with pretentions of being better than just 'ok'.In the end, I sent it back after giving it a chance for a few days to see if it would grow on me. It didn't. That inaccurate second hand kept taunting me. I bought the Frederique Constant, at slightly more than twice the price. The difference in detailing and finish is worth every penny to me. Unfortunately, in the UK, engineers don't earn what the difficulty of the job and qualifications would suggest we deserve, so the Oris is a stretch too far for me.So it's a value judgement. If you get a good price on this then it's a nice watch. The blue is deep. The presentation is great. You already know if you can live with that second hand. And in case you're wondering: yes, I knew exactly what I was saying above.

I really love this watch. It looks great feels comfortable to wear. But I've found after 3 months of occasional wear its started losing about 10 minutes a day in the last 2 weeks after previous v good timekeeping. And amazon website making it impossible to return.

Not worth the money
It’s a nice looking watch, but for the money you could get a much better quality built watch. Disappointed
