Bought this as my Husband wasn't as secure in doing the elbow test method for the water for our baby's baths. As first time parents we both wanted the reassurance of accurate measurements for the temperature. And this has been absolutely solid for that. It floats nicely so easy to remove from the water before putting baby in. Measurements adjust quickly as you are pouring the water in. The most useful part is the little white zone on the temperature to indicate the safe zone for their bath. So whilst you are sleep deprived and preparing to wash a squirming post poonami baby you don't have to remember the temp. You just ensure it is within that area.
