Can I place batteries directly into cordless phone and will it charge up? I don't have a separate charger.

I bought these from my moms cordless phone and they did the trick by putting straight on the phone and charge straight up from the phone

Are these suitable for using in a phone handset and base charger unit?

Probably not. I haven't been able to charge these batteries on a charging unit that isn't energizer.

Are these equivalent to the 18650 plz?

No. A triple A battery is not a 18650 battery. Amazon have 18650 batteries on their site, the search does bring up batteries that are not 18650, but scroll through the results and you will find 18650 batteries.
