Men's Automatic Analogue Watch with Stainless Steel Strap

This is the first mechanical watch I own. I bought it after seeing it recommended in a YouTube video. Having owned it for a month now, I can say it doesn't disappoint. Starting with the negatives: The bracelet is of low quality, comfortable, but has a different finish compared to the case and feels light and cheap. Removing links on your own is a nightmare. Also, the display caseback protrudes quite a bit from the back of the watch, making it seem to "float" on your wrist. This can be fixed by replacing the caseback with a thinner non-display one, which is what I've done before taking the pictures (caseback ref. 7S26-3040). Now to the positives that make this watch 5-star worthy: The case is very well-made with a polished finish and feels heavy and of good quality. The dial is a gorgeous brushed grey that reflects light in a variety of different ways; pictures don't do it justice. Together with the polished silver case, hands, and hour markers, it makes for a very shiny package. A colleague even thought I was wearing a Rolex when worn with the bracelet in the picture (not the original bracelet). Time accuracy is much better than what the specs say; I've had to adjust it only once after a month of wear, and it was off by less than two minutes, which is an accuracy of + or - 4 seconds a day, better than some watches that cost 10 times as much. And lastly, the well-designed case, polished grey dial, and the watch dimensions make it fit well with lots of different straps, making it suitable to wear in a variety of occasions. Overall, a very fun, entry-level mechanical watch at a bargain price. It is my favorite in my small (but expanding) watch collection and by far the one that gets the most wrist time.

Bought as a birthday present for my son and he loves it, and while it's a hard wearing piece of jewellery, it is purely for best, and has the level of durability you would expect for that type of use. Due to other reviews we already knew the face was black instead of green, but he still wanted it, but I have to mark down a star purely for the fact that the picture does not fully represent what you are getting. It keeps time well, he hasn't noticed any significant time drift. Had to get the bracelet adjusted, but that's to be expected with this kind of item. It's as well put together as you expect from Seiko, and so it should last him a long time. Time markings glow in the dark, and are easy to read.

This is not the most expensive watch, but it keeps excellent time, and presents very well if you are after a simple, uncluttered design. Like all my Seiko watches, it is an excellent balance between price and quality. I've had other Seiko watches around this price point, and they have lasted well for about a decade, despite my absence of care. If I had been better about getting them serviced even once each 5 years, they would probably go on forever. Looks great either casually, or with a suit for work, and take plenty of punishment without problems.

Love this watch no sticky out bits that you don't need or use quite slim and light reliable what more do you need.

I’m a little unsure if this is a fair review😕However here goes. My husband has had a total of four Seiko watches since 1974. The first one costing £66 . This latest one was gaining 50 mins in a 12 hour period. So we returned it. However, since doing a bit of research it we find this to be a common occurrence, as rapid gaining could be from some spring sticking, caused by a slight knock in transit. Or magnitisation caused in transit. It’s an eye opener. Remedy being if it’s the spring give it a gentle tap. If it’s magnetisation download an app to test how much magnitisation there is a possible remedy which is, buy a demagnetiser gadget. But who knows. I note it says this watch is frequently returned. So, the plan is to buy one that was actually made in Japan. The one I returned was made in China. Having said that, forewarned is forearmed. Would be good to be advised that this rapid gaining may happen. But, if this is such a common problem it would of some help to inform the consumer of these hiccups.

This wrist watch started losing time. I sent it back to SEIKO but they say they never received it up until now. I regret going near SEIKO.

This Seiko watch is becoming harder to find if you’re a watch enthusiast.It comes in with a dial of around 38mm and is powered up with a very reliable automatic movement.It has a day and date window at the 3oclock point which works smoothly and positively.The strap is stainless steel.The watch keeps excellent time and is also powered by the movement of your wrist.Typical Seiko reliability.

This is not my first Seiko watch and in the past I had only great experiences with this brand. Their watches are long lasting and very accurate.

I’m very disappointed with this purchase. The watch is of poor quality, appears to be a duplicate/copy, and does not function properly. I would like to return it. Please let me know the process for initiating a return or refund.

La prima cosa che ho fatto è stato cambiare il cinturino: troppo scarso. Una volta fatto il vs Seiko cambierà aspetto e valrá tutti i soldi spesi, un vero Rolex Killer. L'ho acquistato più di un mese fa e non ha perso neanche un minuto dalla regolazione. Che dire: un Classico che non sfigura....
