For all my life I was an atheist, and within the last two years I found Christ and I am joined with the faithful. Glory to God! :) For context, I am writing this review as a discerning Catholic who has recently begun attending the Traditional Latin Mass at an FSSP parish. The Angelus Press 1962 Roman Catholic Missal seemed to be the most prevalent missal used by the laity at my parish, so I went ahead with ordering my own so start learning and following along with the Mass. Absolutely one of the best purchases I've made. The Angelus Press missal is beautiful, well laid out and contains so much information in it. Crucially, the book contains both english and latin translations of each step and motion of the mass, with some explanations. Also very valuable are the essential prayers to learn for Catholics, the calendar of movable feasts, and pages dedicated to the various saintly feasts and other recognizable events. The outer covering of the book is black imitation leather, but is very sturdy. The binding is very good, probably the best and surpasses the equally good Baronius missal. Five colored ribbons are provided in the missal, which are more than adequate for marking the important spots for the mass or other sections you might find relevant. The ribbons themselves are high quality and I recommend tying knots on the ends of them to prevent fraying and keep them looking nice. The gilding on the page edges is very nice and I suspect will hold up better to constant use than some other missals. The pages themselves are thin and crisp. Printing is large enough to be easily legible during Mass, even for a relatively small book. Text is printed in black, with red text used for describing specific motions of the priests and servers during the Mass, or for providing context. There aren't that many illustrations in the book, which I have no issue with. Overall this is a fantastic missal, probably THE missal to use for attending the TLM. Very sturdy layout and binding that I'm sure will last a very, very long time. Beautiful and easy to hold book to use during the Mass, and a pleasure to read at home when learning about the Saints, feasts or various traditional prayers. The Angelus Press missal is a solid investment, one you only need to purchase once and you can likely use it for a lifetime. Review: Best TLM Missal (better the Baronius) - This missal (the Angelus) is better than the Baronius (these are the different publishers) on basically every count. It is a better size, it is cheaper, it doesn't have unnecessary prayers for England, Wales, Australia, etc. it has more prayers (especially for baptism, last rites, litany of humility, etc.) the format is way better (in fact, the Baronius format is quite horrendus and hard to follow at many points--the Angelus is the opposite and also has great commentary on the Orindary of the mass), and much much better indexes and tables of contents. This missal makes sense--it is good to use and not burdensome. However, the Baronius edition has Imprimatur and Nihil Obstat (official approval from bishops), while the Angelus does not. This is largely because Angelus is the publishing wing of the SSPX (order in the Catholic Church with irregular canonical status). This is not especially important, however, because almost everything is the same, and those things on which there are differences, the Angelus has the upper hand most of the time (ways Baronius is better below). Moreover, the things that the Angelus has that the Barionius does not are all approved by the Church and current Pope. That being said, the Barionius has some intrinsic benefits. First among these are the inclusion of Benedict XVI's Summorum Pontificum, but also things like the article "On the Liturgical Year" by Dom Gueranger, a few other prayers in e.g. the morning prayer section (the only place it seems to have more prayers than the Angelus), and "An Abridgement of Christian Doctrine" (though this is only on the website and not in the edition I got from desertcart...maybe it is a leter edition as mine is a 2011 printing and the website has 2014 for the most recent printing...not sure). I would certainly go with this missal for TLM over any other. Nontheless, these benefits do not outweigh the costs, and all of these additional readings can easily be found online and they aren't prayers that need to be carried around in a missal. In summary, the Angelus is better because it has more (crucial) prayers and is way more legible. It might not have official episcopal approval, but nothing in it is objectionable to non-sedevacantivists and the additional readings add no standing value. Buy this version, not Baronius

The Restoration of a Dignified Tradtion and a Milestone in the Restoration of the Latin Mass
The reissue of THE ROMAN CATHOLIC DAILY MISSAL (2007)is a milestone in the restoration of the Tridentine Mass. The Latin Missal is based in part on the Latin Missal produced in 1570 as a result of The Council of Trent (1545-1563). This Missal was used by millions of Catholics until the "reforms" of Vatican II (1963) and the issue of missals in English which largely replaced the Latin missals. This Missal has good organization and clear explanations. The table of contents and index make location of Masses, Litanies,Novenas,Votive Masses, etc. easy to locate. The Liturgical Calendar of Movable Feasts is dated until the year 2050 which makes this Missal useful for at least another 42 years. Another useful feature of this Missal is the Litanies to St. Mary, Christ, St. Joseph, etc. The Litany of the Saints is complete, and as much as possible this Missal has recently canonized saints listed on their feast days. Many readers probably know that that certain feast days include different saints which can conflict with the proper celebration of their feast days. There are explanations for this in this Missal. The Ordinary of the Mass is highlighted in black and red print with Latin and accurate translations into English. Those who may remember when the Latin Mass was celebrated regularly may recall much of the Latin. Those studying Latin will find this Missal a handy guide to examine how good their Latin is. As an aside, this reviewer's Latin is not good, and he appreciates the clearly written translations. The Proper of the Saints used in this Missal has a brief but informative history of both well known and lesser known men and women who have been canonized as saints. The concept that the Catholic Church was built on the Martyrdom of Her saints is made clear in the feast days and the number of martyrs in the first 300 to 400 years of the history of the Catholic Church. The blessings and readings of the Mass and special feast days are again in both Latin and English. Those who like to contemplate the masses, prayers, etc. will find this Missal useful. There are special prayers and biblical readings for every day of the year. This Missal has the Mass for each day of the year with a listing of movable feasts. The index and table of contents offer convenient guides to help the faithful which needs to be reemphasized. On page 1900, the chants (Gregorian Chant for example)of the Catholic Mass are available with the Latin and musical notations. The Latin Mass was orginally celebrated by chanting based mostly on Gregorian Chant. Readers should know that Gregorian Chant and the other chants used by monks and priests were the basis of Classical Music. Readers who have a love of Gregorian Chant and Classical music would appreciate this part of the Missal. The ROMAN CATHOLIC DAILY MISSAL is based mostly on the Latin Missal sanctioned at the Council of Trent and was first issued in 1570. Those who argue that the Latin Missal is not that old have not studied history very closely. The Latin Missal sanctioned in 1570 was based on the Latin Missal(s)that were at least a thousand years old. The Trent Missal has a long history behind is publication. This reviwer highly recommends the ROMAN CATHOLIC DAILY MISSAL. Traditional Catholics will enjoy and appreciate this Missal. Readers should know that Prof. Thomas Woods wrote a book titled SACRED THEN AND SACRED NOW which is a good companion volume to this Missal. Prof. Woods has an useful guide and listing of web sites that will enhance the enjoyment and use of the ROMAN CATHOLIC DAILY MISSAL.

Practical Missal for Beginners and Regular TLM Attendants
The perfect size to hold in one hand and carry with you, this missal is easy to navigate, and there’s even a website to guide you to the correct page for each day. I found it helpful to tab mine for easier reference, as there’s a lot of page flipping during Mass. The missal includes all the necessary prayers and devotions in both Latin and English. At the end, you’ll find a Kyriale (Gregorian chant notation). Works for both both beginners if they’d like to invest in it, as well as regular TLM attendants.

Gorgeous
Even more beautiful in person. The pages are thin, as is to be expected, but the quality is top notch and I can see this lasting a very long time.

Great missal
I really like this missal a lot. It’s easy to follow. I have 2 other missal and by far this one is my favorite. I have the Father Lasance and the Boronius Press ( I love the large font on this one) It’s worth every penny and it has everything I needed. It has the prayers for adoration. Overall, I’m very happy with this missal.

Good for attending online TLM
As Tridentine Mass is not widely available in India (except for SSPX seminaries in the South), I purchased this to use as a guide for online Masses during lockdown. I have been using this for the Masses that I follow on Youtube from ICKSP/FSSP channels. It also helped me quite a bit in learning some basic Bible verses in Latin as well as some of the hymns and prayers in Latin. The Holy Week is not pre-1955 and that is one complaint that I have. For pre-1955 Holy Week you need to get a St. Andrew's Missal imported directly from U.S. as it is not available anywhere here in Amazon India. Overall it is very useful and has helped me deeply in my spiritual life. We only hope that Tridentine masses will increase in the coming years in India.

Es precioso y de tamaño conveniente
Este misal lo compré latin-ingles porque no había conseguido latin-español. Es muy bonito y contiene misal, oraciones y otros apartados. Me sirve para aprender el misal en inglés también.
