Hotone Ampero II Stomp

Great bit of kit for guitar amp simulationd and chained effects with just about every sound you will ever need. I wish the screen was slightly bigger not easy to read effects chains while playing but Great Amp sounds all of the classic tones.

This modeler sounds amazing through an orange pedal baby and a 2 x 12....The fact that it has pre amps that you can use to dial in your sound when using through an amp instead of the amp/cabs and IR's makes it really easy to get a great sound....Use it with a multi midi switch controller so you can have a bank of 8 presets and then that is all you need for an excellent live rig with maybe a couple of pedals..... I have a Kemper as well which doesn't do dual amping and on the stomp you can! The operating system is fantastically thought out on the Stomp and I still cant believe how good it sounds!

Modellers have certainly come a long way in recent times - especially those by the newer Chinese companies such as Hotone. I already own a Line 6 Stomp and I prefer the Ampero II Stomp in almost every way. It's so easy to quickly get great amp tones with the Ampero. The cab blocks are particularly good, as are the included official Celestion impulse responses. The range of amp models is very good, and the effects are of a high quality too - I particularly like the reverbs. There are some neat touches such the modelled power amp that allows you to choose which power valves are modelled. You can then pair this with any pre-amp to create your won unique take on well-known amplifiers. Thanks to a recent firmware update there is now the option to save scenes, and the looper now has a large selection of drum tracks. My only negative compared to the HX Stomp is that the Ampero doesn't have the option to enable expression pedals by sensing movement, but I hope this will come in a future update. All in all, I'm super impressed with the Ampero II Stomp.

Wasn't overly impressed with Amp tones or effects, biggest problem was the amount of noise. I have had most of the competitors to this in this price bracket so I feel I can make a reasonable judgment on this item.. I could have had a rogue unit of course. The unit feels well made and had lots of features, however I sent mine back and that was hassle free.

3rd Time of trying to get a Review posted. Seems they don't like negative reviews. Too noisy for even a beginners device. (Through headphones, Aux In speakers). Gets very warm/hot. (3 units tried, 1 I would describe as unsafe). Not much info from Hotone regarding Firmware updating. Bugged Software doesn't recognise Device when connected to PC. (2 out of 3 units). Hotone's Software does NOT work properly. If you are unlucky enough to achieve connection: 'Do Not Disconnect on Updating' - The Device/Software DISCONNECTED ITSELF. 'Device NOT Connected'. Ampero 2 Stomp BRICKED UPON CONNECTING TO FIRMWARE UPDATE. I tried to use EVERY Editor Software, and one was FLAGGED AS HARMFUL by Windows Smart Screen and I was not allowed to download it. Bricked upon connecting to Firmware Update and NO SOLUTION from Hotone Support Website. Although Amazon did tell me I could have a DISCOUNT if I kept the NOT WORKING DEVICE, err no thanks. I sent it back for a refund. 1 Star because 0 Stars is not an option. EDIT: Tried a second unit, it arrived in a torn open Amazon box, and the Amper's box was torn. So, that's going back. And I am NOT ALLOWED TO ORDER A REPLACEMENT. I have to buy another Ampero 2 Stomp, whilst I am still waiting for the first two to be REFUNDED. So, AMPERO 2 STOMP has cost me £1,020 so far, with nothing to show for it*. *Except a growing dislike of HoTone products and, especially, Amazon and their dire Customer 'Service'. EDIT: Amazon's 'Customer Service' response was abysmal all through the return of second Amero unit. I had to make a Charge Back and threaten legal action to get refunded. It has REALLY changed my opinion of Amazon, which was very high previously, and they really couldn't seem to care less about making a loyal customer of approaching 2 decades an unhappy one. Third Ampero 2 Stomp unit tried and returned. Sounds are very fizzy and artificial. Even the clean tones. Shame for a great looking, and laid out, easy to operate pedal. I wouldn't ever buy anything from HoTone ever again.

（Firmware v2.0を使用） ハードウェアの外観、タッチパネルの操作性と視認性、PC上から扱うソフトウェアは綺麗にできています。 ドラムマシン内蔵されているのでこれ一台でメトロノームやドラムパターンを流しながらギターが演奏できます。（おそらく）HX Stompとの差分になるはず。 空間系の響きが気持ちいいですね。歪みはBOSSっぽい力強さよりも少し大人しい印象。 Firmwareのバージョンアップは若干手間取りましたが、付属ケーブルではなくType-Cケーブルを直接Macに繋ぐ形でうまくいきました。私の環境ではUSBハブなどを中継するとうまく反応しませんでした。 電源が3ピンコンセントになっているので、対応の口がない方は3ピン→2ピン変換プラグを用意が必要です。9-18V 800mAの出力に対応しているパワーサプライがあればそれでもOK 梱包・包装はいわゆるよくある中華製品という感じで、特段綺麗な感じでもありませんので気になる方は注意。

Soind excellent, Need to go online to get a little more nice template but there are plenty of free ones! Touch screen & ease of use is brilliant. Especially compare to line6 pog go hx & crazy helix!!! And I consider it sound as good or better. Personal opinion! Reverb are excellent Best buy ever.

Anteriormente usaba un Boss GT-1, realmente hay mucha mejoría en la calidad del sonido con el AMPERO II STOMP, nunca pensé que el GT-1 sonara mal pero hasta que no escuchas algo mejor es difícil darse cuenta, ahora pienso que el GT-1 es terrible. El sistema operativo del stomp es muy bueno, disfruto editar sonidos y la aplicación de windows funciona también excelente. Los AMP Models de ampero 2 suenan muy cercano al amplificador real que están emulando, con una calidad similar a otros multiefectos mucho mas caros. Con el firmware 2.0 ya tiene SCENES con la que se pueden almacenar 3 variaciones del patch base y en total se pueden almacenar 300 patches en grupos de 3. Por precio y calidad es la mejor opción en este momento.

Multieffetto stupendo, probabilmente il migliore degli ultimi anni. Ha una marea di effetti e personalizzazioni, software un po' articolato (e senza manuale) ma smanettando si riesce a trovare la configurazione giusta. Unico neo, non si può mandare lo stesso segnale su outuput e send, bisogna creare due linee, dimezzando così gli effetti utilizzabili
