Easy to use and creates a perfect edge on my German knife.

Nice unit. Charged easily. Not too noisy; however, it was a little noisier than a major name brand that was much more expensive. Read the instructions and follow them carefully and you will get a nice sharp edge on your knives with no problems. The portability is awesome, too! Not too sure how long the charge might last but it easily went through several knives. Can't comment on how well it does on serrated knives as I had none to try. Did just as well as a much more expensive plug-in knife sharpener, especially for the price they are charging. A great gift, too, for someone who needs to sharpen their knives occasionally, like me. Wife loved it, too.

Keeping a sharp knife is important to making kitchen work easy and safer so I like to keep my knives extra sharp. A Although I'm happy to take the time to manually sharpen this electric sharpener makes quick work of it. It's a good size so it fits right in the kitchen drawer and it's rechargeable. It does a good job once you know what you are doing. Definitely recommend.

I tried several USB-C chargers - didn't work. Their proprietary charger is the only one that works per the instructions (see below). So evidently one of the advertised features is really a scam. Not a good start.From the instructions:Use only with Listed/Certified ITE Power Supply. Do not use an extension cord. Plug charger directly into electrical outlet. Use only with the charger provided with the appliance. Do not attempt to use this charger with any other product. Likewise, do not attempt to charge this appliance with any other charger.

Wow. This sharpener is AWESOME. It scared the life out of me at first with the sound but it’s really an awesome tool to have. I have some really expensive knives I never had work on from when I was working in restaurants. Couldn’t even cut an onion. I didn’t throw them away because I knew at some point I’d fix them up. I put them on this sharpener and they’re good as new. Back to cutting like a dream. Highly recommend. I did all of our normal home knives also. Makes me feel safer knowing I’m working with sharp tools again and it also makes me feel better that other people in the house are working with sharp tools. Dull tools cause more accidents and worse injuries because you’re using more force to try to get the job done.Everyone needs one of these.

This piece does a great job maintaining sharpness and bringing an edge back to life with your old knives. Not very complicated but this sharpener is easy to use and compact enough to stow away without an issue. This is a breath of fresh are to an otherwise mundane task of a hand sharpening. You will find yourself being more diligent with keeping your knives sharpened now that you have access to this device.

With the exception of a set of honing blocks like professional chefs and knifemakers use, this USB rechargeable sharpener has the potential to replace every other knife sharpener in your kitchen. For me, it works infinitely better and faster than sharpening rods and the little suction cup knife sharpeners available, and is straightforward to use moving through the set of three sharpening slots. Works great on serrated knives as well, and I love the fact that I can recharge it using the same plug as my phone!

The only downside: this is a bit bulkier than I'd expected or, frankly, wanted, which is a consideration if you have a small kitchen where adding even one more gadget is a squeeze. That said, it has plenty of upsides, too.-- Clear instruction manual-- Quick sharpening time compared to a conventional sharpener-- Easier to use than a whetstone or sharpening steel (for me, at least; YMMV)The bulk does have at least one upside: it helps the unit stay put while you're sharpening. Not a bad investment, especially given the cost to pay someone to sharpen your dull knives.
