Perfect
While temporary this lasts a long time and multiple washes. Lasts far long than other brands and holds its colour. Easy to use and hair still feels healthy.

Beautiful Blue Dye
My first attempt at highlighting my hair blue with a cheap product failed miserably, so I was looking for a product that was highly recommended that would do the job properly. The internet raved about Manic Panic, so I decided to give it a try.As suggested, I bleached my hair beforehand, and followed the application instructions given online as well as on the product. The results were excellent! I was not expecting perfection as I had not bleached my dark brown hair very strongly, but I was happy with the mid-blue colour that resulted.I knew the product would fade with each wash; even using colour protect shampoo and conditioner has not prevented this. However, the colours that this blue have faded into are just as lovely: some are lilac, some are pale purple, and some are still quite blue, depending on which layer of hair and therefore their sun exposure. I would love to find a permanent blue dye, or a semi-permanent with a longer lifespan, but until then, this is probably the best.I am also very pleased with the condition of my hair from using this product. It has not damaged it in any way; instead it left it wonderfully soft. I have also had no skin reactions. It was also relatively easy to remove any dye from my skin using a bicarb-based toothpaste and a nailbrush. Beware, of course, it doesn't come out of fabric!

It does get everywhere, just take precaution.
Very happy with this product! When I'm dying my hair myself, I use manic panic near exclusively but this is the first time using both black and blue colours. I knew the blue would get everywhere but I didn't realise just how much! It does clean up easily enough with some simple household cleaner creams, useful to know. Also, after dying my hair and rinsing it I left it for three days before giving it a quick shampoo, so of course it got everywhere.. I work in a laundry so this isn't a problem for me, but I'd recommend just using white bedding and towels that you don't care much about and just bleaching them. To be honest, I've had to do this with any other dye I've had done as well. Seems more a problem with blue pigments rather than this brand. The black was actually very tidy even compared to all other colours I've used, don't have any black rubbing off on anything.I used it as follows: put the black on dry clean hair and left it on for about 30-45 minutes, then rinsed. I them put blue on and left it for two-ish hours before rinsing until water ran clear. Handsoap and a sponge gets the colour off skin and nails effectively. Three days later I washed my hair with salt-free pH balanced shampoo focusing on my scalp, and again rinsing until the water ran clear.Manic panic is typically a very gentle hair dye, but you still have to remember to patch test 24 hours before use so you don't have any problems.

The best blue ever
I've been using this a while and it's the most beautiful blue I can find. Easy to apply, very vibrant and lasts a while. Gets everything blue so use protective gear.

Manic Panic on Unbleached hair
Woah. Very very happy! I still had permanent red dye in my hair in my hair (schwarzkopf) that had faded to a copper but I wanted to dye it another colour that came out good without bleaching. I'm a natural level 2 and so, dying my hair is very hard considering i haven't bleached or lightened it AT ALL. I heard about manic panic and was sceptical about using it considering how it's made for those with blonde/lighter hair than my own.I applied the dye all over and left in for nearly 3 hours and applied heat for 10 minutes. I then washed out with cold water until it came out almost clear. I then did my usual hair routine with products and I can honestly say it shocked me. It's so bold yet subtle and covered over the previous dye without any problem. Look forward to using other colours from manic panic and may even lighten my hair in the future :3(Edit: It has been in for just over a couple of days and the colour has become a lot bolder with highlights in my hair that are VERY blue)

What a mess
This dye is a lovely colour and lasts quite a long while - on everything towels t-shirts, children, chairs, even finger nails if you scratch your head. So as much as I love the colour I'm going back to my usual dye

perfect blue
easy to use and love the colour changing each use the only thing is I would prefer the instructions to be on an additional piece of paper as they are too small on pot
