Mortice Lock Try Out Keys

I bought these to open a door what was perminantly locked in my flat as lost keys, took awhile to open but they did the job, excellently made very sturdy

Ordered these as I lost a key and wasn't sure if it was a 2 or 3 lever lock. I can confirm it was a 2 lever lock as this was the set that unlocked it.I didn't receive the catalogue/guide that was supposed to come with this set so knocking off two points, but the try out keys themselves worked a treat.

We had a Pantry that we lost the key too and needed to get in without causing any damage. After reading the reviews and wondering if they would work I thought I’d try them and I’m so glad I did.After watching a couple of you tube videos on how to use them we were straight in, I wasn’t sure if the door was two or three lever so this kit catered for either.Don’t however just think that you buy them and use them as a key, this is not the case you must jiggle and riddle them and lift the levers using them, sadly as reported in other reviews you don’t get any literature or catalogue with them it’s just the keys so learning how to use them is essentialBrilliant set though and excellent value for money

Excellent piece of kit hardy metal and ideal for any with limited skill training to master the use of keys. For Master Tradesman Locksmith certainly an added tool in one's armoury to achieve the main object to secure or open a locking mechanism. Recommended

I gave this a 1 star because i have purchased a stronger metal fro my childs toy box, these keys are ridiculous and grossly over priced at £33. Its an absolute con. I would rate this at a saleable value of £10 max.In the description it also says "A free high quality printed locksmith catalogue and guide containing over 800 products is shipped with with every order"! I NEVER received mine, so i contacted the seller (who i found out to be very rude and obnoxious) stated that the catalogue is sent on a separate order, even though it clearly states different in the description. Although it would probably be changed by the time of your reading this.The customer is always right!I worked for years in a well known trading protection company so i know what im talking about and these keys are not worth the money that the seller is selling them at. But when a customer arises a problem you do not be rude with them, you try to resolve the situation with the customer to make them satisfied so as to protect your referrals thus looking after your business growth. But not the guy, he was damn right rude and out of order and clearly didnt give a monkey about his business or his buyers. Maybe he has had a lot of complaints before? it would seem so this is why he had such an aggressive manor about him. But i wouldnt buy off him again and would recommend others to do the same. He is not even worth 1 star.I never write a review of here but i felt this guy has earnt it due to his attitude and ignorance. Also they are cheaper elsewhere just search on Google.
