Tidlo Wooden Rainbow Drum

I am a drummer and I wanted to start my granddaughter off drumming at as early an age as possible! After shopping around, I decided to settle on this drum as a present for her first birthday. She loves it. It has a lovely mellow tone to it that is not annoying. Myself and my granddaughter have real fun playing on it, and because of the slits in the wooden surface there are three different tones. The drumstick is just the right size for little hands to hold, and the red rubber end is fixed safely and securely to the stick. I would recommend this as an ideal introduction to the drums. I will soon be teaching her to play paradiddles :D

Great toy for the kid! For the grownups around?? Unless you’re a percussion fan.

I read some reviews complaining about the sound and recommending a 'real drum'. In fact it's not loud to protect your baby's ears and also not to be too annoying to people nearby. The sound is quite nice, it's not like a drum and it sounds ... woody! But it's good, good built and safe for babies. The rubber on the stick is very well secured - it didn't came off *so far*.

Quality drum made from thick wood and finished really well in terms of varnish and paint.The drum stick has a large rubber end and is rounded at the other end to keep the little ones safe - it does get a good chewing as expected when giving to toddlers!Only dropped a star as there isn’t much time variation between the three sections of the drum,m, two of them in particular, but on the whole a good buy!

So many children's musical toys are a bit naff and make annoying noises, but this drum is great! It makes really nice sounds when hit and our son enjoys banging it with the drumstick provided. A lovely classy toy!

This drum is really good value for money. I was surprised at the depth and tone of the beat of the drum. It is at a level I would expect from a larger and more expensive item. When my grandson plays with it I don't feel I need to stick my finger in my ears as I did with his old drum. A great item I would buy again.

Nice enough toy drum and doesn’t make an annoying sound. A month later I discovered tongue drums, which make a really beautiful sound and have a wider range of notes. In hindsight I would have just purchased a tongue drum.

Lovely durable little drum. Bold, bright colours. ‘Nice’ sound rather than too loud...I have bought two of these now as gifts and both were very well received. Both have taken a good amount of play without any problems.

Precioso tambor que imita a los juguetes de antaño. Es muy colorido y le llama mucho la atención a mi bebé. Además los sonidos que hace son bonitos y no son molestos, hace diferentes sonidos porque tiene como una especie de xilófono ya que tiene un surco que hace que se oigan varias notas. Muy recomendable!

The drum is made of good material.the sound is not sharp so it is good for the toddler.there should have two drumsticks but its ok.
