The product is well packaged and looks well made upon opening. It has a very clean and slick look about and would sit well in any interior. The touch screen is a little bit to sensitive but you get use to it. I would definitely recommend getting the extra memory card as a precaution so you can review the information away from the screenThe wall bracket keeps the screen very close to the wall and helps with the overall look and there is a good length on the power supply cable which I feed into the wall for a more finished look.I would also recommend connecting the system up and have it working prior to final instalment .I have seen other kits for more money but this is spot on as is the ring tone which which can be adjusted and the call quality is very good and clear

I tested before fitting and worked perfectly. I followed the instructions and fitted to the front door without issue. Including running the cables behind the plasterboard took about an hour.Although the display panel feels cheap it all works well. Camera is well made and sturdy, A handy angle plate is included so you can mount at side of door without issue and captures person at door. Although others said it doesn't record voice I found that it does. I put a 16gb card in it and started working. (changed settings from snap-shot to record). I installed for security and ability to record callers and it does what I wanted. Good value.

I would recommend this intercom. It looks good and seems well made, especially the bell push unit.It's relatively easy to install, I used 4 core alarm cable, soldered with heat shrink sleeving at each end which gave no loss over 20 metres. One drawback of the bell push unit is that it only allows for the cable to exit through the back, requiring a hole to be drilled through the wall or door frame. I modified my unit so the cable could exit above by making a small cutaway.Audio is very clear. Video quality nowhere near HD but as the caller will be in close proximity, it's perfectly adequate.I like the feature that records video or still shots whenever the bell push is pressed. You can capture still shots on the built in memory (although it's not stated how much) but a micro sd card is required for video recording, but this is preferable anyway.There is also a motion sensor mode which records when movement is detected nearby. I tried this but ended up with a long list of files and you have to play each one to find out if it was someone approaching or (mostly) a false alarm.

I bought this to replace an aging video-phone which had a small, grainy black and white screen. The new unit is light-years in advance of the old one and has all the features offered by modern security systems. The definition would do well to be higher than 1080, but what's important is that this is more than adequate to capture security images and footage. I had all the necessary wiring in place from the previous unit, so installation was relatively simple. Setting up requires some familiarisation of the multi-function set-up button, but once mastered it's a case of 'it's easy when you know how'. I bought the unit solely to interrogate callers before opening the door, as I have several hi-res security cameras that are motion-triggered to record activity 24/7. The kit includes an angle mounting plate for the bell push so that the camera is angled to point directly at the caller - a slick feature. Highly recommended!

This device is not that easy to fit. Poor picture quality and NO INSTRUCTIONS not even on line - it is useful only to quickly scan who is at your door and speak to them without opening door - l bought it because l wanted a device that l did not have to connect to WiFi and there are few out there now - it’s ok - but limited use - after nearly a month l have no idea whatsoever as to how you capture and replay video or individual pictures and simply can’t be bothered to waste any more time trying! If you just want ti see who is at your door and speak to them without opening it this may be the device for you!

This video door intercom is brilliant. It has excellent picture quality and good clear and loud audio. Best of all it can also capture a photo or even a video of anyone who presses the bell button. It also has a great security measure as you can set it to record a video clip when it detects movement on your property all of which are saved on a SD card (not supplied) and can be viewed via the door phone or you can take out the SD card & save the files to a computer. All in all a very good value security device for peace of mind.

This product does not have connection to the phone. The software is nightmare to programme the time, not always saving the settings and after 3 months it started making a terrible loud noise each time the bell rings. i have to buy another product to replace this. Do not buy
