Unequivocally just works.
You need to cut wood straight. This will let you do it. I thought it was a gimmick when I first heard of stuff like this, and man was I wrong. I use it all the time now. It is to a circular saw what a ruler is to a pencil. Positives for this particular one: the stuff above. It is really light. And the actual measuring ruler comes in handy more often than you’d think. Negatives: it goes down below plywood more than you’d expect, meaning you have to juggle the wood a bit carefully. It’s not a t-square, so it’s doesn’t make itself exactly square without you nudging it. And while it *can* be used on much smaller wood, it’s really awkward to. So the smaller versions of this are better for smaller jobs. But overall, yeah, my cuts no longer look like they’re made by a small child with a crayon.

Useful
I found that using a speed square made setup of the guide much easier. The clamping pressure is adequate for my use and the size fit perfectly for my workspace (the kitchen aisle of a small one-bedroom apartment). Sometimes, releasing the clamp after use was not as easy as I thought it should be. Overall, I was quite pleased with the product and would not hesitate to purchase a similar product from them in the future.

Not good
If you just need a straight edge it's ok. I was able to use it for a router guide. It's not easy to get it square without an extra couple speed squares. There's a bit of play on both ends and the clamping side is somewhat weak. Also wasn't able to use larger t bolts. Quality control seems bad with the print scratched off in many places. It feels pretty cheaply made.

Pitiful Quality Control
I purchased this guide from a *ahem* blue box store. First - the unpackaging: when you undo the zip tie and surrounding packaging, the clamp part will slide down the guide with enough force to break the bottom (very thin) plastic end cap. Enough force that, like mine, the chincy thumb-press part securing it will go flying off and the cap shooting out the other end. Great - had it for 3 seconds and it's broken. Next - the top cap is *tapped* into the rail. So if their tapping job is, like mine, woefully uneven, the top cap will sit with enough cant to make use anything but precise. To add insult to injury, if, like me, you bought the right-angle accessory in the hopes of, as Bora claims, always getting a square cut - good luck. The accessory attaches to said plastic cap which (again) is tapped and on mine was off 3/32 from one end to the other (a 3ish inch span). The end result: An edge guide accessory that was off, over it's roughly 2foot span a full half inch. And because these mental wizards tapped it into the rail and made the plastic guide non-adjustable - there isn't a darned thing you can do to square it out. In short - broken in 3 seconds; about as accurate as a blind 3 year old with crayons; and pricy enough to preclude overlooking those shortcomings. I can't speak to anything else made by Bora - but I won't likely give them another shot.
