2 Tier Microwave Steamer, 22 x 16 cm

I was looking for a electric steamer but they were all too big, then I saw this microwave steamer and decided to try it and it is great. I was looking for an electric steamer but they were too big and then I saw this steamer and ordered it. It is just what I wanted. I don't think it would be big enough for a family but for just one or two it is fine. It is well made and good value for money. It was delivered quickly as well. j

Been looking for a two tier one for ages so very pleased. The plastic is a little flimsy though.

The top handle comes off too easily. The outside surface gets hotter than other ones I've had. The outer fills with water when inverted in the dishwasher.

How can I describe it? PERFECT. Perfect dimensions, perfect end results. Simply perfect. 2 tier makes room for more vegetables to be steamed together, saving energy and time.

The bottom water dish is very shallow, and doesn’t clip into any of the rest of the unit, so there is a very big risk of the units separating once it’s taken out of the micro wave, presenting a big Hazard of scalding if the boiling water hits you once the separation occurs. The steamer has been disposed of after one trial run.

thought this would speed up the cooking time ,but took longer in the mico than it does on the hob not happy with it at all another piece of kit for the back of the cupboard

A great althernative for steammer. Saving me dozens of time from cooking vegetables.

The steamer works o.k. but after one use the base unit which contains the hot water is now slightly warped. Also when the whole unit is picked up the base unit is very soft and pliable. Very dangerous when full of hot water
