nice reed
I am always open to finding a new brand od reed, and am happy to say that this nice set of ten alto saxophone reeds from this brand, has met my expectations for the kind of sound i like. These reeds pass all of my testes for a long lasting and trustworthy reed. My first observation of a positive feature is the ease of the wood becoming porous. I do not like to place my reeds into a water before use with my preference being the ability to drum up the moisture naturally and fast. These reeds have a thin, but not too thin wood, that accepts easy moisture, therefore leading to a fast and clean tone, which is then ready to emit out of your horn of choice.I lie how this set comes with a protective travel case. Having a case is an easy way to keep them all together. I know i have struggled in the past to keep my reeds together, as well as not break them due to misplacing a single case. Having a large case contraption that is meant for ten, helps me keep them all with each other.I have made several home recordings with my alto saxophone and these reeds. I am super impressed with the sound mixed with the nice addition of a delay effect, which contributes to enhancing the reed.To conclude, i am happy with this set of ten and recommend them.

Work well enough for beginners and practice
I picked these up for my beginning saxophone player, since she does go through these quite quickly (not always as careful as she could be). The price is great for that, and I loved that this came with so many at once. They, of course, aren't the highest quality, but for her and what she does, they work well. The tones come out nicely for her level, and more importantly, I don't feel like I'm spending tons of money each time she damages one.So, I'll be purchasing this one in the future again.

13 of the 20 were great!
I was given some Cecilio soprano saxophone reeds a while back and LOVED them! I thought I'd give these a try. Although you get 20 reeds, only 13 of mine were worth keeping. One of the reeds was cracked all the way down the middle, another had a splinter sticking off the end of it (not cut properly), and another one had a huge gouge out of the side of the reed. 4 of the 20 were very difficult to play (more like a #3 or #3.5 strength reed). But the other 13 were awesome! I love the nice sound that I can get with Cecilio reeds. Some of the reeds are so easy to play with that I want to keep playing all night long! So after reading all the reviews here. Bottom line - they are not high quality reeds, you're going to get some that look like crap, but the majority of them will play quite nicely. I usually play on Vandoren reeds, but Cecilio reeds have a nice sound too.

Great customer service
My son started learning the sax this year for band class. Not knowing anything about the sax, I can't say whether these reeds are better or worse than any others, although I have been surprised by how many he has gone through in the course of six months. What I am really reviewing is the customer service I received from KK Music Store. I ordered 2-pack and only got one. When I contacted them, there was no fuss, they just sent a 2-pack and didn't ask for the one back. I'm not a big reviewer, but I appreciate the speed and ease with which they amended the situation enough that it only feels right to post this.

Not Bad on a Budget
I think these reeds are great when someone is starting to learn how to play an instrument for the first time. However, I don’t think they have a good level of durability long-term. Quality wise, they do not last long and will not accurately produce a good sound for an intermediate and beyond player.
