Is it suitable for a 8 week old puppy?

I've only used this on an adult dog. When he was a puppy I used special puppy toothpaste, which I think is gentler and milder. But I only used it when he got his adult teeth. An 8-week-old puppy will still have his puppy teeth, which will fall out when he starts teething. So although cleaning them is not so important, it is still well worth getting him used to his mouth being handled, probably just with your finger at first. My dog is now happy to have his teeth cleaned.
