Quite a good product with so many features and functionalities. Easy to install but also easy to mess up because it doesn't say to install the app twice. When I made the first installation, I got a message saying., installation completed then followed by another message saying install or cancel. When I tried to cancel it, I got a warning that installation will not complete if I did. So I began the second installation and finally completed and used it for an urgent task. Quality wise, good for the price and I recommend it to anyone who just wants a good photo editor with good features to do the tasks. It's far better to buy this than install free photo editor with limited features.

I couldn't install this on my Mac equipment. Pity really. There definitely is a space for a simple photo editor that doesn't clog up your system such as if you install Photo Shop or Lightroom.

Does the job and a great price

There is nothing wrong with this program at all. It gets excellent write ups and works extremely well! However, buying it is a no-go really as the software is free to download. No licence is required. I thought I noticed this fact somewhere before buying but I decided not to check again and made the order in a hurry. So I simply wasted £10. When I got the disc, I was pleased, but once installed, I got a message saying that an update already existed and I went online to download it. The new version simply overwrites the disc version you have already installed. So you may as well visit the GIMP website and download it straight away, and not waste your money! It would be better to do this and make a small donation if you were happy with it. The current version at the time of writing this review is GIMP 2.10.20. I believe it was the 2.10.16 version I bought on disc, and immediately updated to the 2.10.18 version. Since then, the 2.10.20 version has been released and I currently have it running on my PC.

I have not had the time to work with this editing photo program as it’s massive by going through it’s drop down boxes, it looks to be as big as photoshop. I am looking forward to working with it soon it’s easy and quick to install with plenty of instructions to help with the installation. It comes with a full working manual in pdf format plus questions and answers section and contact instructions if any problems should arises I highly recommend this Seller Pixel Classics , as being genuine and supportive of their software and and for keeping in touch with me right up to receiving my two DVDs (Libre Office and Gimp photo editing program) as I received well within the specified postal time. I hope this review helps to make up your mind if you’re in search of quality replacement programs at a very reasonable price and good value for two excellent products.

The best photo editor I have ever used. Every thing a photographer could ever want. At first look it appears very complicated, but along with it comes a very comprehensive manual, about nine hundred pages. I would recommend it for any experienced computer users, but for beginners it could be a very steep learning curve. A modern high spec computer would be recommended. I comes on a DVD disk so you will need a DVD reader to install it. Really good value.
