This would be a gift.** A: That really depends on the equipment this person likes to carry with them. This backpack is big; really big. I have a 17" BOXX mobile workstation, and it holds the computer very nicely. I like to use a standard keyboard, and it holds one of those easily as well. There is a lot more room in it for other things, but between my computer and the required two chargers, it starts to get heavy. If this IT person likes to bring a separate, full size keyboard with, I'd say they would be very happy with the size of the bag; if not, it may be bigger than they want. The quality of the bag seems to be quite good based on the two months I've been using it. Having so many pockets was the main thing feature that I liked about this, it makes it much easier to keep organised and to find items quickly in a dark venue environment when I know exactly where everything is. It's well-built, big bold zips that are easy to grip and feel like they'll last a long time. It's comfortable to wear and the aesthetics are excellent. I had reservations about the cost but liked the look of all the organisation within the different compartments. On receiving and using it however I can say that everything about this bag exudes quality and attention to detail. the outside material is a mixture of (I think) thick nylon mesh and a cordura type material. looks very durable. Inside, the compartments are very well thought out with lots of organisational pockets. The lining material in the laptop and tablet compartments is very soft & protective. Very comfortable to wear, either just over one shoulder or as a full backpack. I can fit a car in it. No damage so far.The only thing I don't like is that shoulder strap adjuster is not holding to a set position. Every time you put it on again, it slipped, so you have to set it again.
