The description on this item is inaccurate. I got these to use for the smaller trays in my toaster oven, since larger pot holders were just unmanageable. The price looked good, I liked the design, and it list a good heat rating.They melted with the first use and they had only been on the tray for less than a minute. I actually had to drop the tray because I could feel the heat coming through the silicone. For context, the toaster oven was set to 350 farhinheit (which according to the description these are rated to 230 C or 446 F) and had been sitting with the door open for a minute or two before I picked up the tray with the pot holders. I ended up having to scrape pink melted silicone off of my toaster tray.I'm extremely disappointed and I do not feel like going through the hassle of returning them. Looks like another trashed product and wasted money.

When I first bought these, I thought they were perfect option for what I needed. I wanted something small, not a large, heavy oven mitt. Didn’t need them for my oven but a small air fry oven. They were perfect - until I noticed they were melting. Description claims silicon but I’ve never had silicon melt. I made fried chicken in my Ninja air fry and noticed when I removed the tray it had melted pink on the handles. I thought I had bought the perfect pot holder so I ordered an another set, just in case I misplaced one. Pay a little more and get a better option.

The claim that this is silicone is a lie. It is not silicone. It is what looks like hard plastic and it simply melts when you grab hot objects with it.

As others stated, these are not silicone and melt immediately upon touching a hot pan/tray. Now I have burnt plastic on expensive cookware.Completely deceitful description. This product should be pulled from site.

The mitts work fine as expected. I am, and my wife is disappointed in terms of a gift-ability in that I ordered the color my wife would like, matching other utensils in the kitchen.
