A Savoy type Cabbage that lasts well once planted. Autumn Harvest Cultivation Sow the seeds under glass in April - June (min 10 deg C).Plant out when large enough to handle - Some protection from birds maybe necessary. A Free draining yet moisture retentive soil is best. Cabbages should not be grown on a site that has had Manure added in the previous 12months.Plant out into final spacing at 30 - 60cm between plants. It is also a good practice to rotate the position of your Cabbage crop to avoid the build of of possible bacteria/fungi/disease.

THEY COULD GROW INTO BIG WHOPERS
A few seeds in a plastic bag I thought they would never come to any thing but they did so I was surprise that I just threw some in a pot.About a week after I saw some sprouting up and wondered where I should put them so I just put them where I could, that was before we went on holiday for a week and when I came back they were so big I could hardly believe it and now they are really big at the 30/6/17 so I would recommend these seeds and the seller too. I only have a medium sized balcony and grow in small plastic tubs about 2foot 6 inches long and not very deep so my plan is while other stuff is growing slowly my cabbages grow fast and I can have just the green leaf or the full cabbage later in the year, you takes your pick.

My favourite cabbage which I've put into pots till the seedlings appear then I'll repot them & Ive put them in the greenhouse so hopefully they'll be ready in October or November
