I was preparing to buy a new mattress because my new memory foam is too firm and difficult to sleep on. This just saved me a lot of money. I've used it for almost a week now. This seems well made so far, the straps keep it secure, but best of all, it relieves that rigid feeling and provides some cushion.

So, I’ve been looking for another mattress topper to save our very uncomfortable memory foam bed that was bought about a decade ago. I bought another mattress topper awhile back but over time, the filling flattened out by a lot. It’s rather difficult to get a truly over-filled mattress topper because most listings are photoshopped to appear much thicker than they are in reality.However, this one is pretty much true to the picture! Throwing it in the dryer on no heat just to really fluff it up helped wonders. There was no weird smell to it or tears in the fabric. The straps are a godsend because no one wants a mattress topper that slides around on them while they sleep. I put the previous topper on top of this one because it’s black and I don’t want the new white one to get stained, and wow. Amazing. The bed doesn’t hurt anymore. I’m supported no matter how I lay on it. You don’t overly sink into it but it definitely cradles you with the perfect amount of give. Every week when I switch out the sheets, I’m going to refluff the pad in the dryer to make sure it retains maximum fluff!

Rejuvenated our mattress in such a great way. It really does feel like a cloud. It's thick and heavy. But I saw a gentleman comment about his having bugs so naturally I washed it immediately upon opening (I always do) didn't see any bugs but rather safe than sorry. Barley fit into our front load washer which is fine. Upon the cycle ending it was definitely still very wet, it was too heavy for the washer to fully spin the access water out. I ended up tossing it into the dryer on low and just pulling it out and un twisting it every 30 min. It did take about 5 or 6 hours to fully dry. And now it has brown stain leak spots that seem to have come from within itself. So it looks kinda gross in a few spots now. But let me tell you, we got the best night of sleep on this thing. It's extremely comfortable, very soft, surprisingly thick, and it doesn't seem to hold heat too bad if you're a hot sleeper. Extremely pleased with my purchase other than the weird dirty brown stains it gave itself.

I have slept on this topper for 2 months, and I like it a lot. I spent a lot of time researching toppers after my bad experience with the first one.My Conclusion: This is a great topper as compared to memory foam which tends to become softer with use and body heat. This topper has an option to wash and refresh while memory foam degrades with time. If your mattress feels too firm, I recommend you try this D & G 2" Thick Mattress Topper.It is comfortable, offering a great pillow-top:I have an innerspring mattress which is a little too firm, and this topper does feel a lot like a feather bed. It sleeps much cooler than the memory foam with cooling gel I tried first. I believe this less high-tech topper will continue to deliver the same performance for many years because I have a comforter with the same type of filling and it continues to have the same volume after 10 years being sat on and used as a cover.It stays in place:I was tired when I put the topper on. I put it right on top of a fluffy mattress pad that hadn't done the trick (it didn't offer a softer top) with the intent of pulling off the old mattress pad when I washed the sheets. At that point, with a thick mattress, the straps to hold this topper in place would have stretched too far so I didn't use them. Fortunately, the topper didn't move at all, and, I left the set-up as is. It is great to have a topper that doesn't move at all.Maintains its softness:This topper rebounds well. That it is washable is another plus, but it doesn't seem to compact and it also doesn't allow me to sink in so far I end up hot and unable to roll or reposition.Why it is better than memory foam (with cooling gel):I had a memory foam topper for 18 months and it had become less comfortable. By 12 months, I should have sought a new solution. That memory foam was the best that Costco sold at the time, and had great ratings. After the first 6 months, I began to notice that I was sinking into the memory foam halfway through the night; over time my joints began to ache, I lost sleep, and I came to believe I slept very hot (even in the winter in MN, with a thermostat set to 60). Prior to that memory foam, and now, I sleep on this D&G Topper, being hot is not an issue. I may need an extra blanket now but that isn't a problem.I also tried a high volume mattress pad. I didn't find it to offer any additional comfort.

This is definitely worth it. I've had mine for over five months and I sleep like a baby. I have a pretty cheap mattress that's extremely firm, so I was looking for something that would provide extra cushioning. This gets the job done.It looks exactly like the photos. When I just got it, I place it in the dryer for a bit to fluff it out.It's worth your money.

Purchased to soften an extra firm mattress I bought. Softened a little but not as much as I thought it would, given the excellent reviews.

Added the right amount of cushion/plush to a firm mattress! I’ve had this for over a year and got it for new medium-firm foam mattress (which was a tough first night bc I was used to a soft spring/pillowtopper). The next day this arrived and I let it breathe with the fan on for about 10 hours. Felt perfect sleeping on and helped the transition over to the rock that felt like my new mattress. Btw, adding some plush on top over a super supportive mattress is literally the perfect combo especially if you work out a good bit.

This is the second one I have purchased. The quality of this product is amazing. Its hard to find a mattress topper that is comfortable, soft & as plush as it appears to be online. I would recommend this to anyone!
