Good value for money and of adequate quality
Foolishly, I believed the comments of one or more previous reviewers who may be simply trolls and not purchasers of this product. I was given to understand that this bell would fit any normal-sized handlebars but that is simply not the case. It fits the slimmest tubed bars ok but not the bars on my Cannondale!I was able to mount it by moving my handlebar furniture around and by replacing the mounting bracket screws with longer ones but it is far from ideal although I have achieved a reasonable compromise. In use, the pleasant 'trring' reminds me of my earliest bike bell 60+ years ago and I prefer it to the flick 'ping' variety very common these days so I'm happy with that.

plastic leaver and not as firm as silver version
Ringer is plastic and on the weak side which is silly as everything else is sturdy metal. the ringer lever itself does not feel as sturdy or as firm as the silver bell version of this. my bro just came home and had it on his bike and it feels much more solid. if i were you i would go for the normal version of this unless of course all new models are weaker and worse constructed like almost every company on this planet these days!!!!

10/10
Excellent product. Sturdy, very loud, long ring from single action, looks good, and pedestrians always react when you ring it. Perfect, when so many other bells aren’t.

Sturdy bell with a loud ring.
Looks good quality. Fits the handle bars well and is easy to use. Time and weather will tell its durability. Happy with my purchase.

Marginally Adequate
It's OK but hearing it did not leave me thinking "WOW!" people will really get out of the way! To be fair it is a bit better than a "pinger" but I would not say much better, only slightly. It's not really louder than a pinger and the ring is only fractionally longer than a "ping". Guess I got a bit nostalgic thinking it looked more like the bells you used to get on bikes (proper bells ;-). Anyway it is cheap, it is not worse than the pinger you get free on bikes. All in all, it is a bit "Meh".BTW, it is also 5cm in diameter rather than 10cm

Good, traditional style bike bell!
Was easy to fit - the bracket and screws fitted comfortably to the handlebars of my mountain bike. The unit seems well built and sturdy has that reassuring ring like you remember from your childhood bike. I wanted a traditional style bike bell, as opposed to the flick style that seems more common these days.Note: Due to the way the thumb push is positioned, it seems that this bell needs to be fitted to the left hand side of your handlebars to enable it to be pushed forwards.

My ding-a-ling
You can tell it's not the most expensive bicycle bell in the world but it looks ok and works fine. Would recommend for the price. I bought it as I could not operate other "ding" type bell with winter gloves on.
