I bought these to use at gym as I have weak wrists and suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome so I needed a stabilising support which would allow me to train but not put my wrists into too much flexion.I had a few concerns about how thick these would be on me before I bought them, but was reassured by the answers I received from previous buyers so went ahead and purchased them.The wraps are very well made and I'm sure would do an excellent job but for me, they wrapped around my wrists so many times that they were very bulky and completely restricted movement. When I was able to move my my hand a little bit, corner edges of the leather material poked into my hand near the thumb, which was aggravating and irritating to the skin.I tried different ways of wrapping them around my wrist - closer to my hand or further away; tighter, looser; and asked different instructors and other gym goers how to put them on so I could get the benefit I wanted from them but in the end, I'm disappointed to say that they just weren't suitable size, (length and width) for a short petite woman with small wrists.As I didn't use them until after the time to return them has passed, I gave them to my brother. He said they are perfectly fine for him as far as the sizing goes and will do a good job of supporting his wrists so they have gone to a happy home.
