We had this set up the minute we received it, was very easy to install and works throughout all 3 levels of our house. The design is great, it’s very durable, and easy to control, just takes some adjusting and getting use to it.

This is incredible. We have Mitsubishi mini-splits in our house and they wanted $400 each to add a wifi to them. I simply told the app the manufacturer and confirmed the buttons worked (all except one). I was able to reprogram the button that didn't work with 2 clicks. Immediately alexa detected it and now I can control the AC with alexa commands and can program schedules for them through alexa.

The ceiling lights that I bought from home Depot actually use 2.4 GHz for the signal to control the light, so this device didn't work - but that's just my failure to do research. I already had Smart Life on my phone and it connected fine, it's just that it couldn't do anything.

Actually surprised at how solid this product is. I would make a few value adding design changes but all in all it worked very well and I will be buying more of them. Setup can be easy, or if you want to drill down and get finer more granular control you can do that as well. I’m using the one I got to control my bedroom ductless mini-split unit and it does that very well and allows voice control via various smart home assistants. For the cost, a very nice product.

Tried for 2 hours to get a Roku IR device to work. Despite the Q&A on the product page, it does not seem to support this via pre-coded items, and the DIY manual function is ridiculous to use. The app is terrible and would be a nightmare to use if you need to switch between devices to use as a universal remote. Cheap, but still not worth it.
