Casio Men's Solar Sport Combination Watch

Really good. Quite legible but if rather the hands were thicker and fully solid. There seems no point to holding the minute hand as you can't see the date through it. Casio never seen to make the perfect watch. It's like they do that on purpose to keep you coming back.

Great looking watch, which is a useful addition to my increasing collection. I like the dark, rugged look and it feels like a premium watch. I've avoided the dual analog/digital watches due to the faff involved with manually setting the hands to match the digital time but this overcomes that by doing it for you. Such a good feature. I paid 30 for this watch, which is truly astonishing value for a solar powered watch. I'd add that it seems to need very little light(even artifical) to maintain a HI charge. Genius.

With a solar (and fluorescent light) powered battery charging, world time, 5 alarms and 100 meter water proofing, there really is no better watch for the price it has all the usual functions you'd expect on a digital watch such as timer, stop watch back light date etc and also a nice analog face. I would highly recommend this watch

My husband loved it setting the time was a little jest to husband did not read the instructions after I did read it worked one up for the ladies

TOUGH as heck to set the time.need a Engineering Degree to figure this one out. Have not tried to set or try o t her features.

This is a really good timepiece , pros 1. light weight 2. powered by light - both indoor and outdoor lights will do 3. day date month display along with analog time 4. provision for various city timing 5. 5 alarms - though alarm will drain power 6. hourly chime 7. water dust proof 8. easy to set up - just select your city - DEL in case of India - and you are done cons day and date month display should have been in a single display page (like other youth series watches), now button press needed to toggle , between. there is a small windows where 5-6 horizontal bars continuously change to indicate its charging (i think) its completely redundant and not needed. over all its a great watch for daily use , you can wear it school/college /work place. amazon delivery was great- on time and properly packed - as usual cheers

Owned for a week. Is it perfect? No . . . BUT VERY GOOD FOR THE MONEY!!!! PROS: Great watch for the money so far. I wanted a basic analog watch with added digital features and solar-powered. This fits the bill perfectly for me at least. 1. Very easy to read at a glance. 2. Analog time syncs with digital readout. 3. A relatively large face but not too large for me. 4. Actual mineral/glass crystal. 5. Very light weight on the wrist which is ok. 6. Strap is rubber/ plastic with a nice curve to fit the wrist well. 7. EASY SETUP if people take the time to follow the instructions and familiarize themselves with all functionality of the watch. I don't use all the functions. Just use the functions you need and forget about the rest. 8. Perpetual Calendar based on the correct location, time zone, day, date and YEAR! You never have to adjust watch for short or long months. 9. Solar-powered with a 10-month power reserve so it says. AMAZING. 10. Never have to buy a battery. 11. Affordable . . not the end of the world if it gets lost, stolen or damaged. 12. Deadly accurate time keeping. I set this one to the online World clock and then set my other 26 watches to this one. 13. It is a Casio with decent reputation. I have a Casio Edifice Quartz that is my daily watch for 6 years now and it runs flawlessly. I just put in a new battery once a year. $10.00. 14. Case seems fairly tough and rises above the crystal for added protect when bumping into things. CONS: (Really minor) 1. Lume is not great and does not last long enough. Not really a big deal for me. Just a comment. 2. Back Light only illuminates the tiny digital lower panel . . . not the whole watch face. Would be really nice if all manufacturers could come up with a nice full face backlight like Casio's own EL system on their digital only faces or the Timex Indiglo idea. 3. Just nit picking here and personal preference. I would prefer a solid minute hand instead of the skeletonized one. Not a big deal. 4. Would be nice if it had Atomic Timing but that would increase price and I understand that. Love it so far. Will provide an updated review if anything changes.
