Looked good never harderen 2 coats very tacky then chipped before the day

I've used this stuff for a long time never had a problem with the product ordered it 3 times as the duo pack bt last 2 came with 2 pinks and no clear bt I can't fault the actual product I infill every 2 wks the image above is 2 wks if grown no lifting still very strong and yes I know it's November and I have festive nails call me crazy!! Hahaha!! Bt only issue was receiving 2 pinks in my last two duo packs which left me with 4 pinks and no clear which is OK if colour is covering it bt I can't do a French design with the pink as it's very pigmented with each layer u put on! Which is lovely on its own however I expected a clear in each pack and didn't receive!

I’d been thinking of trying builder gel for a while as the cost of visits to the nail bar weren’t really feasible these days and getting all the kit together probably cost me two visits but I figure the outlay will be worth it. I’ve been having my nails done for over 20 years so I thought I would be able to do a good job and as per the picture I’m pretty happy with my first attempt.I shaped, dehydrated and primed my nails first, I used three layers of the builder gel, curing for 90 secs in-between each layer. I also found that the gel stayed a bit tacky each time; but I recalled back in the day manicurists used wipe cured nails with acetone wipes and so I did that and the found the builder gel dried out nicely. I buffed my nails more because I thought I should but it didn’t really need it as the gel goes on so well and you can create the desired shape as you go.I didn’t want my nails to look like acrylics so I kept the layers thin and actually I’m glad the builder gel it has a runnier consistency as I prefer a more natural look. I also had a broken nail to repair so I used nail glue and I didn't even need to file it down, but the fix is well concealed.I used Essie gel couture 1 & 2, didn’t bother with a base coat but I did cure each layer again just in case.It took me a while but with practice I’m sure it will improve. I’m not sure about the durability yet but I have faith that it will be great. I’ll see how long it lasts and the post on update but in the whole I’m very happy with it.

I used the pink builder gel and was disappointed, you could barely see the colour. More like a clear

I bought this to use as a builder gel and it chips very easily. After a day four of the five nails I used it on were chipped. I’ve used other brands before and they did not have this issue. I did not try as a top coat but I would definitely not recommend using it as a builder gel.
