Two of the eight lamps did not work.. I didn’t want to send them all back but Amazon or the manufacturer/supplier didn’t appear to offer a replacement of the two defective ones. Supplementary Note: Since publishing this review I have had an email and a full refund from the supplier. I would be happy to buy from these people again.

These go all along my path and they look so good, not too bright and not too full. Perfect

Would not be able to recommend these to anyone, as i bought 3 packs, for a total of 24, and only a few actually lit up brightly after being in quite strong sunlight over two days, but had used up all their energy within 2-3 hours, most lit up very dimly, and would not offer any light to see a walkway by, You could actually see the led chip just glowing, like the same as when you do not supply an led with enough voltage. And a few of them did not even work at all. So they were all returned, A shame as they do look good, not too big quite strong plastic on the actual globes that look like they might last through a few winters, but sadly the electronics inside are cheap and ruin it all, and would not expect the ones that did work to last even a year outside.

I was so pleased to get the lights, unfortunate that one of them the inside was lose and all I can get is a flicker, another on is very poor light, however as the money paid was not too expensive I suppose I must not moan, however another light would be handy to have if you would like to send me one.

I cannot comment on the solar part of theseclights as the first thing I did when I received them was ripped them out. I bought these to use In an addressable Xmas light show, therefore the solar was replaced with one 12volt pixel led These were perfect for my project and were put in the garden from Bovember to January and being plastic there was no weather related issues. They can be seen lining both sides of my garden path in this video screenshot. They are set to only 15% brightness, which shows that the opaque globe does not hinder the light output

I never really write these. I bought them because we’d just spent a shed load of money getting our back garden landscapes and the work was finished in January. I wanted to be able to see the outline of the new garden at night. I thought they’d last about 6 weeks then be rubbish. We’re in Scotland and they’ve got through a grey spring and have been bright all night. They’re now killing it in spring. They won’t give you enough light to read or show off your Henry Moore in the back yard. But they keep working and give a glow all night. Now they aren’t tough. A fat pigeon perching on one will separate it from its feeble peg. Bit they shine bright whatever the weather. Big fan

We were really pleased with the initial eight we purchased last autumn and on the strength of which purchased two more packs; one of which was given to friends. Now we're by no means convinced. Quality control had evidently slipped on repeat purchase. None of the circuit plates had been correctly located - though easy enough to rectify, but one of the units simply could not charge-up beyond around 0.7 volts, even if left in bright sunlight for two days and so, when the sensor is triggered there is only a momentary flicker of light which promptly extinguishes. Of the two sets (16 units total) only nine emit meaningful light three hours after automatically switching on, indicating that the rechargeable batteries are substandard. Apart from the completely dud unit, the other six have either completely extinguished by that time or barely show a glimmer of light (as with the first three on the right in the picture and the first father back on the left). Also, the globes in the set purchased 8 months ago are becoming yellowed by exposure to the sunlight because of the type of plasticiser used, just as once did the casings of old-style desk PCs and monitors. We would have been buying two more packs had this not been the case.

J'ai acheté ses lampes , dans le but d'éclairer ma montée d’escalier extérieur de la maison , qui n'avait aucune lumière ; lampe conforme à mes attentes , je les ai reçu le midi et de suite je les ai installer . Ce jour là peu de soleil , mais le soir toutes les lampes ( total 8) s'éclairaient légèrement , normal vu la saison !Je suis très heureuse de mon achat , à voir dans le temps !

Habe die ersten Beleuchtungen 2 Wochen nach Lieferung in Funktiongesetzt gesetzt und leuchteten gut ! Abernur einen Monat ! Danach waren von 6 von acht defekt ! Leider bestellte ich bevor ich die fehlende Haltbarkeit erkannte, weitere 8 Stück, die nicht besser waren/ sind ! Leider ist auch die zweite Packung (retournierung war wegen der Frist nicht möglich) unbrauchbar ! Als langer Kunde, wäre ich der meinung, dieses Produkt trotz abgelaufener Frist zurückzunehmen !!
