So much near everywhere, it seems wifi cell phones led lights ect all put out not only readable but in some ways lightly dangerous waves. Leant the device to an off grid friend and they even found that trees put off a generous reading! The description of the product is miss leading as it mentions testing Microwave ovens, or Cell towers. This is not the device for that it is sensitive to EMF the magnetic field and mostly deaf to RF field. I can put it in front of my microwave oven while running and it hardly picks up a thing where my RF field detector is going off scale.As a EMF detector it does a good job like motor windings, oscillators, power supply noise. Motor brushes etc. the one thing I wish it had was a high pass filter to to eliminate 60 cycle AC. There is 60hz wiring all through the house so anytime you get close to any house wiring, switch or anything plugged into a socket it will go off with a high reading.
