This is a good sturdy plate, all the seams are welded and it has rigid plates welded to the underside to prevent the plate from warping. Well made and Very good value.

The only reason for four stars instead of five is that it can take a little longer to heat up compared to thinner griddle plates, but once hot it performs consistently. Overall, a well made and practical griddle that adds real versatility to BBQ cooking and works reliably for a wide range of meals.

Love this it's brilliant to cook on. Mine has not warped at all, If your using on a gas bbq remove the grill grates then flavouriser bars. Put the grill grates back on. If there is space around the griddle on your grill fold some tin foil and place it aound the edges this will save heat when cooking. Turn your burners on to the lowest setting and put the griddle on, apply a thin layer of rapeseed oil to the griddle and close the lid. This will season your griddle. I was worried it would warp but it did not. I did Google what to do and a video showing you on you tube what to do. I just followed the advice that was given. The person had a different make of griddle plate but it worked the same.

Very solid and well-made. Just what I was looking for to add a flat surface griddle to my new barbeque. Raised design with front trough allows grease to collect and be disposed of later. All round, highly delighted.

Just be aware that this is not food grade stainless steel - otherwise very nice looking.

This sucks. There is a 2 inch gap between the cooking surface and the heat source so the surface cannot get hit enough for a proper sear

I was slightly hesitant before buying this, as it is more expensive than similar sized cast iron griddles but I worked out this fits perfectly on a Weber Go Anywhere, the small rectangular bbq, so I went for it, and I’m very happy I did. I’ve used it 4 times in the last week, and it’s great - all it needs is a little high smoke point cooking oil, and really hot coals or a high flame, if you’re using gas, but leave one end cooler - turns out it’s crucial for controlling how fast everything cooks. I’ve done a full English (minus the beans), steaks, pork chops and bratwursts, and it’s really nice to have a large cooking surface, and you can always take the griddle off and use the bbq as normal, or swap between the two. Just remember to get the griddle hot before cooking on it - helps to prevent sticking. The easiest way to clean it is once you’ve finished cooking, pour some water onto the griddle and scrape with a spatula and a scouring pad. Don’t add too much cold water at once, as it may weaken or crack the metal, but it will come up good as new. If you love cooking outside, but you’re bored of a normal bbq, you won’t regret it.

Nice object, but after few uses, it got black spots that is impossible to clean/remove. Does not look like rust, but still not nice to cook food on these spots. I had trusted the brand and paid a premium vs. others, but not very happy with the purchase

Compramos esta plancha de acero inoxidable para ampliar las posibilidades de la barbacoa y nos ha sorprendido para bien. Tiene un buen grosor, transmite sensación de calidad y reparte el calor de forma bastante uniforme. Es perfecta para cocinar alimentos que normalmente se caerían por la parrilla, como verduras troceadas, gambas, champiñones o incluso huevos y bacon. También viene muy bien para preparar varios ingredientes a la vez sin que se mezclen con las brasas. Después de usarla varias veces, se limpia con relativa facilidad si se hace cuando aún está templada, y el acero inoxidable da la impresión de que va a aguantar muchos años sin problemas. Como punto positivo, permite aprovechar la barbacoa para preparar comidas mucho más variadas, por lo que le estamos sacando bastante partido. En definitiva, una compra muy recomendable si ya tienes una barbacoa y quieres convertirla en una plancha de cocina de forma sencilla, sin necesidad de comprar otro aparato.
