SunSense Ultra SPF50+, Body Sunscreen, clear, 50 ml (Pack of 1)

This is the ONLY sun cream I have found that does exactly what it promises on the tub. Not only is it amazingly good value for the size of the tub (I used it 3-4 times a day, every day last summer and still have a good amount left) but it offered a level of protection unrivalled by any of the other big brands of the same SPF. I have very fair skin and always burn or at least catch parts of my body when out in the sun and this causes me to usually spend summer under cardigans or umbrellas and feeling pretty uncomfortable and miserable when the sun comes out. That was until last summer when I decided to give this a go. I am a total convert! It absorbs easily and doesn't feel too greasy on the skin, and doesn't have a horrible chemical smell that some factor 50+ have. I reapplied as often as it said on the tub, and I spent my summer in maxi dresses and tank tops, without a single incident of burning or even catching a hint of colour where I wanted protection. This is a miracle sun cream, I'd say its quite sweat proof too as we had a very hot summer and it still protected my skin all day. Obviously re-applying is key with ANY sun protection but value for money and such an amazing product, I strongly recommend this to everyone, whether you are sensitive to the sun or not. Also the Sunsense face sun cream with a tint finish is amazing- I'm confident any sun cream in this brand will offer the same amazing protection for all the family. I will never buy another brand of sun cream again, as this I perfect.

Absolutely love Sunsense, have been using it for over 3 years for my kids I use it too and never got burnt It s light, very easy to apply and it isnt sticky I just find that this particular bottle isnt a great idea as the pump it s tricky to close. You just have to know when you te nearly done applying the cream so you can close it with a final pump or you ll end up wasting a big amount of the cream! Other than that is amazing! The only cream I trust using on my chidren, ever since they were babies Perfect for sensitive skin Would recommend and will most deff buy again (will just make sure to change it into another container!)

Every year my daughter has had problems with her skin when we go abroad, every day ended in raised red dry skin that itched even though she was not sunburnt. I have tried lots of sun cream over the years and the only way I could help the issue was by keeping her arms ,torso and tops of legs covered, which helped but not completely. My daughter never really looked forward to our holidays because of this. I read the reviews on this sun cream and thought they sounded too good to be true but OMG, for the first time in 10 years we had just had a holiday to Egypt with out any tears. I can not believe how good this sun cream is, she had absolutely no reaction to the sun this time and she was able to just wear normal swim wear and enjoy the sun. She has a beautiful Tan and lovley soft skin after using this. The large 500ml bottle last her the full 2 weeks, goes quite runny when warm and spreads very well. So pleased I purchased this

We have used sunsense suncreams for a number of years now without problems. You do have to apply it properly and be aware that clothes etc may rub it off as they can do with all suncreams, but we have never had any issues with burning when using it. It is also one of the few suncreams that my sons can use repeatedly and regularly without causing any reaction. It rubs in well too, so is easy to apply and doesn't feel greasy. The rollerball applicator however has gone downhill in recent years. It used to let our a decent quantity of suncream which you could then rub in. It meant it was a nice and easy way to apply it and my children could apply it themselves without mess. I would often have one in my bag to allow us to top up during the day easily. Now barely any suncream comes out, so it is very slow to apply and difficult to ensure you have sufficient cream on all areas. It is not just a one off bottle we have had this issue with, so it seems to be a design change which is unfortunate.

The only suncream my son does not have a terrible reaction to. From 6 months old my son has had severe eczema. It can be very distressing and it has made a seemingly simple thing of buying sun creams very difficult. The first summer we had with him he had such a severe reaction whilst we were on holiday all over his body we had to use a steroid cream and coat him in hydromol cream until it subsided. After that I started looking for a sun cream that he didn't react to. The dermatologist had a few suggestions but he reacted to everything I bought (all labels sensitive/hypoallergenic) until I found Sunsense. It's brilliant! I know his skin won't react and that he is highly protected. It is also easy to apply with it being a roller. I know sunsense do a kids version however this is safe for the whole family and as it works for him I have not tried the kids own version.

My young son suffers from moderate exzema and one of the triggers for him is sun cream. Having been told by my GP and pharmacists alike to use brands that don't contain lanolin, that is actually a lot easier said than done - even E45 creams contain lanolin. I eventually read about this one and I have say it's been brilliant - this is a repeat purchase. General, occasional use in the UK and he has no eczema at all. On a two week holiday in the sun we usually make it to the last few days before a mild itch starts, which compared to all other brands (which leave him tearing at his skin after one application) is tolerable. It is remarkably waterproof and is not nearly as sticky, greasy or hard to rub in as most other SPF50 creams. It's a 10 out of 10 from me!

We were introduced to this sunscreen around 5 years ago on a beach, there was a promotion being held, and we have used it ever since. It is easily absorbed, the roller is great for face, ears, neck and topping up on shoulders, as well as good for little limbs. Our whole family use it, even my son who has slight eczema and it doesn't irritate. Not only that but it really is waterproof for 4 hours so you can be happy knowing that when kids are in and out of pools and the sea they are well protected and it is not necessary to keep applying more cream every hour. I have been told that this sunscreen is available on prescription for patients who have suffered with skin cancer issues which to me is a further endorsement of this product.

Sun protection wise, it’s great. But the pump got covered in product, it leaked everywhere and it smells so bad. My kids refused to wear it because they had gotten comments from people at school of the weird new smell. It’s also one of the many sunscreens that yellow up white clothes. As for water resistance, we never tried it.

We've used this for a few years now. Easy to apply, even onto the face and the kids don't complain about it feeling sticky, like they do with some of the other brands we've used. Good size for a handbag or school bag.

I have lupus and am super sensitive to the sun so I have to wear sunscreen all the time. I have have tried so many different kinds and Sunsense is the only one I use now. It’s light, rubs in well and quickly and after a bit it doesn’t feel greasy on my skin. Best part - it protects my skin so well I’ve had minimal issues related to the sun this summer and i’ve been outside a lot!

[Positive Points] It is a large bottle and suitable for daily use. I live in the Middle East with very strong sunshine. If I use it with long sleeve shirts, I can prevent suntan. [Negative points] This cream will be melting and flowing easily from the face, therefore my eyes often feel hurt after a few hours. DO NOT touch around your eyes after you put this cream, otherwise, your eyes feel very itching or you need to wash your face with soap soon.
