Very reliable. Worth the money.
I have been shooting this arrow rest for the past 5 years on my PSE. League matches, indoor, outdoor even 3D. Never let me down. Never interrupted my arrow in flight. Never experienced any issues. I do not shoot full containment. I remove the top bracket. This is a very trustworthy rest and well worth the money. I loved it so much, i bought a second one for my new bowtech. When you find one you love, you never stray. For me this was easy to install. I believe if you know what you are doing this is a simple installation. If you are not sure, just take it down to your local archery shop and have them install it for you. This is worth the money. I always recommend this to my friends.

Keeps working approx 1000 shots.
Ez to set up. I did make a draw vice to set the drop timing.I'm no expert but this works better than the 1st drop which was a trophy taker throw down about same price which was professional installed. I took the trophy taker apart and the shaft was rubbing obvious mfg defect. Shop owner knew it was hitting vanes but didn't do anything.Thinking better buy online ripcord code red great.

Great product have a bow shop install if you aren't handy
Does what it says and offers a lot of adjustment. Installing it yourself is okay. The little football clip takes some time getting it adjusting on the cable and it's incredibly small. This item is well built and you can tell it's not cheap. The instructions to install it are terrible but if you have seen them before it is fairly easy to figure out.

One of the greatest rest ever!
This is a great Arrow rest I was able to get it sited in right away and tuning it was super easy idk why other people had troubles with that... The containment bar gave me little trouble hitting the cable slide but after talking to Kevin at Ripcord I was able to get squared away! I will be buying more from Ripcord in the future.

Great product; wrong color delivered
Great product;Had a problem with delivery/packaging/provider. I was looking to purchase the "Code Red" [ colored red & black ] and was delivered a "Code Pink" [ main body was hot pink ], and the packaging said "Code Red". I periodically check the link, and have noticed the picture for this product has changed at least 4 times in the last 2 months. It was sold by "Amazon.com LLC". My suggestion, if you care about color pattern, get the product from a local store where you can actually see it.

Good Option
I had been looking at different drop away rests for about a year before buying this one. A hunting buddy of mine has shot a Ripcord rest for years and after comparing his to other rests on the market decided to get one of my own. Most of the other rests that I considered didn't offer any sort of containment, which ultimately made my decision to go with this rest. No one want to be pulling back on a deer, or other game animal, just to have your arrow fall of the side of the rest. The rest installed easily on my BowTech bow and I had it adjusted within 30 minutes. While I enjoy shooting competitions, I am nowhere near an expert. I would be comfortable suggesting this rest to anyone who has a basic understanding of how to perform zeroing adjustments.

Best upgrade ever made on my Diamond SB-1 bow so far, night and day
Purchased a Diamond SB-1 just before Christmas and have had some fairly inconsistent shooting due to two primary things, one being having a wrist strap too tight, and then adding this. Swapped out the stock rest, which is a whisker biscuit of sorts, it has three prongs of bristles. After installing and dialing it in, immediately found myself stacking arrows at 20 yards. My scores at a weekly indoor pickup league have gone from the lower ranks to 3rd and 4th out of 20+ archers, many of whom are seasoned veterans. When I'm on my game, it's a miracle I haven't broken an arrow. Mine did not come with the rubber pad thing that protects your arrow if you don't have the rest in the cocked position. Another note, I discovered that if you have the pull string adjusted right, the rest will automatically cock itself when the bow is drawn. Awesome feature. I doubt I could add a better upgrade to my bow! Next up will be a tool-less adjustable sight.

Does not stay cocked on let down.
Good rest. Well built. Easy to adjust and set up.Like the ‘cocking’ feature to hold the arrow, however it’s not an inertia rest. So it comes back down and doesn’t stay cocked if you draw, then have to let off. It makes my arrow come free and jump around enough to tap against my riser, causing a noise.
