I don't usually post reviews but this one deserves it! The craftsmanship and assembly is durable and built strong. The wire is adjusted just right for straight and even cuts ( I even put my tape measure on it...)A whole 10 inch loaf fits perfectly. If your cutting longer loafs, just sit a block under the overhanging end of your loaf. I use the single bar cutter because I enjoy cutting them one by one and falling in love with each piece as I go. Highly recommend this cutter for beginners and pros.*UPDATE* Feb,16. 2024Purchased this Feb of 2023 and 1 year later it still looks and works as it did when i first got it, and im a daily soaper! Love it love it love it!

I had previously purchased a cutter with the flat and wavy spatulas. It did not give me the results that I had wanted.Well I purchased this one. What a difference. You feel like you are cutting through butter. I have since cut 4 loaves with only needing a finger to lightly press down. And no need to change the wire yet.I love the look of the stained wood and it is well worth the money. I am pleasantly surprised that it does not cost hundreds more.It gives you a professional appearance to your soap bars.You will not be sorry to give it a try.

Don’t know about everyone else but mine is perfect and I love The dark wood color. I’ve never had Soaps cut so perfectly! I use to use a cheese cutter and now I can’t live without this! Comes with extra wire and very easy to set up. You do not need directions, Well, you shouldn’t need directions! People need to make sure they don’t cut their soaps late or any wire you use will break on any cutter. I give this 5 stars!

It arrived with a bit of the varnish worn off but overall, it looks fairly good. Its a nice weight which makes me think , its all dense wood. There were no instructions that came with it. Although it's fairly easy to figure out. i had to look at a picture of it , to understand how it should be assembled. I have yet to use it since it arrived yesterday but 'right off the bat,' I am satisfied with this purchase. Soap cutters can be expensive especially this design. i needed a soap cutter of this kind quickly. This is well made and did not disappoint.

I have used the smaller wooden box cutters for years. I never got even cuts. With this soap cutter, my soaps are now all evenly cut, and all the same weight. I love this cutter. It's sturdy and well made. I have had it for about 8 months. Never broke a cutting wire, even though they give you an extra one. It made a BIG difference in the appearance of my soaps! Well worth the money!

I am very disappointed in this product. It came unassembled. There were NO INSTRUCTIONS included for either how to put it together, or for how to use it. After getting it assembled, the first time I tried to cut a new loaf of soap, the cutting wire that came installed broke, cutting my hand. Blood all over the soap, ruining half of it. Took over an hour to figure out how to remove broken wire, but no instructions on how to replace it. Did the best I could and tried to finish first cut. Would not cut all the way through, had to turn the loaf to finish cut. Discovered that the edge. of the stabilizer was not cut even, so soap slices are not even. Totally disappointed in product. Will be returning for refund. Do not advise purchasing.

This soap cutter works so good. I love the dark color finish and it was really easy to put together! My soaps are nicely cut evenly and look great

I am new to the soap-making business. This is the first soap cutter I have purchased and let me just say - I cannot be happier. First of all, it’s aesthetically pleasing, it comes with ample replacement wires, and it’s cuts my bars beautifully and with ease. One little thing - be careful not to tighten the wing nut too much when adjusting your bar sizes, as that wood piece is a bit softer and will dent from the pressure (not a huge deal). Otherwise, no issues whatsoever. The product was easy to assemble even without using the instructions. If you’re contemplating buying this product, I say go for it! Very satisfied customer.

I bought this product and was a little disappointed with the lengh of stews could be longer as in the Visio on Amazon. The product could have supplied a washer or a block of rubber so that the wood does not get too distressed with the work load. Also it does not come with instructions or at lease a pice of paper with how to put it together. Although I am far from stupid, it’s just a bit inconsiderate.
