The quality of the bag compared the photos is very different, the material scratches easily and wasn't as durable as I thought it would be. But the upside is that it does what I need it to for work.

I have been enjoying using this knife roll for a while now and can say it is a worthwhile investment. No longer are the days were I wrap my knives in a towel or cardboard when packing for a barbecue or cooking party.The build quality feels quite substantial all around, the canvas is thick, and the leather feels rugged yet workable. The interior has plenty of slots for your knives (anything smaller than a 10in chefs knife). I enjoy how the flaps have leather on the interior to help prevent the blades from piercing through the canvas. The removable pouch is greatly appreciate for carrying anything from gloves, to picks an thermometers.Some concerns I have regarding its long term durability is that the canvas has begun to develop some scores where the edge of the blade rests, and the leather straps used to close the roll strike me as though they might stretch out and snap over time.Other than that I am quite content with this roll, and enjoy how convenient it has made taking my cooking with me!

This is an incredibly high-quality and durable knife roll. My partner is a cook and frequently has knives find their way through a knife roll, or even out of his backpack. That hasn't been a problem since we got this bag.It is quite stiff when it arrives, due to the coating, but it softens up as it is used.I definitely recommend this.

I was used to having a canvas roll and it just fit three knives. Admittedly, I only ever use 2, but now I can bring or store most of my knives anywhere. It does get heavy when it's fully loaded, but not unreasonably so. I can keep my knives safe at work, and be able to choose whatever I need at the moment instead of just using the 8" on literally everything. The waxy canvas material this is made out of is tough too. It feels like it will take a long time to break it in, and that's a good thing. The tie straps basically wrap around twice and you tuck the end under itself. Since it's made of leather, it sticks to itself. Think of it like tying a saddle if that's helpful at all. Even if the leather stretches out over the years, there's plenty enough to figure out your own way of tying it shut.

This is a solidly built, high quality knife roll bag. It’s handcrafted out of heavy duty canvas and leather and is built like a tank. It’s got ample room for a full set of knives and even though I put blade protectors on all my knives, I’d have no concerns about putting unprotected knives in this for travel. They’d be well-protected.It offers 10 dedicated slots, a pouch for sundry small items, plus a few small utility loops. I like the substantial built-in carrying handle, plus it offers an adjustable shoulder strap as well.In addition, it comes in a very nice box, making it a fabulous gift for any professional or serious home chef.While I got it for very practical reasons and to fill a need for transporting my knives, it also happens to be a very cool looking knife carrier, which is a nice additional bonus. Not just highly functional but beautiful as well.I highly recommend it.
