Bright and beautiful
This is my 3rd BenQ monitor. I’ve had the 60hz TN, 144hz IPS and now this 240hz QHD IPS. I love BenQ monitors because they are bright and calibration to fit my viewing needs is easy. I’ve never had any problems with my 2 older BenQ monitors so I’ve been happy with their quality. This monitor comes with a remote control. That’s a first for me. All monitors should have remotes. I will make sure my future upgrade has a remote too. It makes calibrating so easy. At first I spent $600 on the Alienware OLED AW2725DF that was 360hz. The blacks were deep black but the color was slightly yellowish and the brightness was only half of this BenQ. I decided to return it and go back to BenQ IPS. I’ll stick to IPS until the tech gets better than this. Current other tech like OLED was not better than IPS in my opinion. This monitor is bezeless with a decent built in speaker. The frame looks great because of the thin bezels. Only thing I would take 1/2 star off for is the stand. I just don’t like the V shape prongs. Maybe if the prongs were an inch shorter or the width of the V was an inch shorter. It doesn’t fit very well on my monitor riser because it’s a non standard shape. My 2 older BenQ’s had better shapes for their stands. I would highly recommend this monitor if you wanted to upgrade to 240hz 27 inch QHD IPS. I’m very happy with it. I hope BenQ’s tech stays competitive in the future, I’ll be shopping from them again 1st when it’s time for another upgrade.

Long term investment
Upgraded from a Samsung G5 144hz curved monitor, and just wow. This is the best monitor I've ever owned hands down, and I've only had it a day. Been playing all day and night, this has rejuvenated my gaming soul. The image, colors, darks/black, lights/whites.. everything pops! The high refresh rate combined with 1440 just makes everything so buttery smooth and cripy. Even the text is easier to read. Menu is very easy to navigate so you can set that part up pretty quick. MAKE SURE you update the monitors driver from the benQ site so you get full functionality. Will easily own this monitor for the next 4-5 years, well worth the value. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The best monitor I have owned
I play a great deal of FPS games, the twitchier the better a lot of them. The first monitor I purchased firsthand for myself, maybe 9 or so years ago now, was SCEPTRE branded. I had no idea who they were, but the monitor I got was great. After this I followed it up with an AOC monitor, which was simply put in two words; godawful terrible. It had issues, it was finicky, and it eventually died on me mid game. Next I eventually owned an Alienware monitor. This was good, until I found out that there were Dell branded monitors of the EXACT SAME QUALITY, but several hundred dollars cheaper. I tried Samsung, and Samsung has the absolute worst QA for their products I've ever experienced. Everything from an HDMI connection to just VESA mounting the things results in at least one breakage. Eventually I decided to cave. I got a BenQ monitor. And, wow, this thing is just simply better. The image quality, the lack of ghosting or smearing, the color accuracy, the adjustability. The thing even comes with a remote so you don't have to fidget with a physical interface, it's that honed in on what it offers. That said, the price tag speaks for itself. If you were going to spend this much money on a monitor, to be totally honest with you, you can do better. You can find something with better specs, you can find something bigger, something better looking. While this is a very premium monitor, this is a field of technology that has been rapidly changing for the last 25 years and will continue to do so. IF YOU WANT THIS, spend the money, but do so knowing that in 2-3 years you can spend the exact same amount of money again on something that's probably twice as good. This is the knowledge I had on my purchase, and I have been extremely satisfied. The only possible change I would make to it is a greater axis for rotating the monitor itself on a stand, but if I want that so badly I can always get a third party mount for it too.

I literally cant even use regular 144hz monitors anymore- this quality is insane, only a select few games actually get the benefit of 1440p and 240hz at the same time, but those games that do- look amazing

First 240hz monitor
For the past 10 years i’ve been on 1080p 60-75hz and this was my first time jumping to a 1440p high rez monitor. It’s been about a month and I’ve loved everything about it. If you’re contemplating getting the monitor just ask yourself. Do you play games at a competitive level for you to need a 240hz monitor that costs $500? If yes then go ahead, but if not just get a 144hz or 175hz. I’ve religiously only played FPS games cause that’s what I enjoy and every single penny was worth the investment.
