Comfy and Supportive
For years I have been using the low-profile Tempur-pedic brand neck pillow. Recently I purchased a replacement Tempur-pedic pillow and noticed immediately that the foam felt more firm than it had in the past and less comfortable and my first couple of nights I had neck pain. As I said, I have been using this brand of pillow for years and this experience was unique to me. It would seem that Tempur-pedic has made a change in how they manufacture this pillow. I decided to look for another pillow and found this one on Amazon. I noticed the measurements were similar to the Tempur-pedic and decided to give it a try. I’ve been sleeping on it for about two weeks now and have zero neck pain and total comfort and support. The foam is soft and supportive, the perfect combination. Another benefit I have noticed with this pillow is that I do not wake up in the night with a sore ear, which has happened with some frequency with the Tempur-pedic pillow as I sleep on my side. I don’t think I will be purchasing a Tempur-pedic pillow again anytime soon. I will update if something changes, and I’m curious to see how long this pillow will last before I have to replace it.

Not smelly and comfortable.
Due to arthritis, I have a lot of neck/shoulder pain. Needed to update my pillow and took a chance on this one. I chose the thin one and could probably have used the medium depth, but it is working for me. It has a nice bamboo cover, does not smell like some memory foam and does not flatten out. I consider this a good purchase.

1 yr+ later, support deteriorated :(
UPDATE 15 MONTHS LATER:I have used this pillow every night and took it with me everywhere I went including the Galapagos and Italy. Now the material has broken down to the point where it no longer supports my neck (i use the shallow side) and does not give me a good night's sleep. It is disappointing because it is quite expensive. I am researching other options to replace it. It worked well until the foam structure degraded. Perhaps they are all like this, and if so I will find out...I have tried many pillows of all shapes and sizes: Soft, firm, with neck support, for side sleepers, various types of foam, different materials. None have consistently cradled my head and neck and allowed me to sleep in comfort. Until now. I am not an effusive person, but I am so grateful for this pillow. If one doesn't sleep well, it affects every aspect of one's life. A good night's sleep is what I get now. Every night. The pillow comes firm or medium and in DIFFERENT SIZES FOR DIFFERENT SIZED HEADS, thin, medium and thick profile. I think that's the key. I am 5' tall, 130 pounds. My neck is fairly short, and my head is fairly small ;) I ordered the thin profile in medium foam. It is now comfortable whether I am on my back or sleeping on my side. Either way, it cradles my head and neck and gives me a comfortable, pain-free and restful night's sleep. I encourage you to try it, it may do the trick for you as well. Nothing ventured, nothing gained....

Not memory foam and not worth the money
This is NOT a memory foam pillow - it appears to be regular foam treated with something to make it feel like memory foam, but whatever that is breaks down and leaves it feeling like a regular cheap foam pillow after about a month. I am just now figuring this out, but unfortunately I’m 3 days over my return window and can’t send it’s back. Initially it was very comfortable and I was going to keep it despite it’s high price tag of $79, but now that it feels like an ordinary cheap foam pillow after only a month of use I feel totally ripped off.

Fantastic pillow!!!
Bought this pillow to alleviate c-spine pain from a bulging disc. Gave me a headache for a couple nights, but I pushed through it having tried many other pillows that didn't work. That lasted about a week. It's been over a month since and I LOVE this pillow. I've never understood people who traveled with their pillow but now I get it. Thank you so much for creating this pillow and especially for offering the thin profile - my neck pain has decreased dramatically and I feel so much better in the mornings as a result.

2nd time buyer. New foam formula significantly diminishes design advantages. Disappointment.
I bought this pillow quite some ago off amazon. I am a multi-position sleeper, with preference for stomach sleeping, and the great thing about the design of this pillow was that it can be used differently and in support of all those positions and it kept my neck and head aligned and comfortable throughout the night. I would change how I used the pillow as I changed positions and it felt just as great from day 1 to years later.I took really good care of the pillow by washing the cover and vacuuming the foam regularly (I was so happy with it) and while it’s still in great shape, like all bedding I figured it was getting a bit long in the tooth and decided to buy another one. When I opened the new one I saw the same quality Bamboo cover (with just a different zipper position), but I immediately had the impression that this pillow was much much softer foam than my old pillow. So I opened the case and indeed, visually the new foam was very different as well- it has a much more open structure and the color is blue, where my old pillow has foam with a much tighter structure, a lot more support and was that classic golden/beige/white foam color.Having spent about 2 weeks with the new pillow, in my estimation the new foam is about 50% softer than the old foam, so what this has translated to in practice is much less support for my head and neck- and the contour advantages of the pillow collapse. My old pillow still has the firmness to maintain the contours that were designed into the pillow to provide comfort and relief for the various sleeping positions and was a significant upgrade from my traditional pillow use and a such a great sleep tool. The new pillow has been a big downgrade and is painful to use for me- so I’ve gone back to my old pillow as I look for a better alternative.Perhaps the new foam is cheaper or more environmentally friendly, but for me its been a $80 disappointment and not usable.I Wanted to write this in case there is anyone else out there in that like me really appreciated the old format of this pillow and just wanted a newer model- THIS IS NOT IT- the foam softness has had a significant impact on the design advantages of this pillow unfortunately. To be clear, the pillow is the same dimensions and contours as my old one- the foam is the the only difference.
