Less pain than threading and usual wax
I've yet to use this wax on the rest if my body but out of desperation I used it on my eyebrows today. And my goodness I barely felt anything. And the best part is I didn't get a rash. I tried waxing my eyebrows with a waxing strip and broke out into an ugly bumpy rash on my eyebrow which was not fun. I've not waxed that area for like 15 years and prefer getting threading done. Encouraged I then decided to do my underarms. Again less painful than wax strips but not as painful as I thought. I usually get waxed there so maybe I've become desensitised. I did find out that I shouldn't use too much wax and to use lots of baby powder. I also was told that sugar wax sticks to the hair and not the skin when being pulled out but I can't verify that. But I do feel it's less painful than wax strips and my salon wax. Also with this wax u can either wash it off with warm water or use a flannel to wipe off whatever is left although hardly any wax was left behind. I also used baby powder on my eyebrows btw. I will update this once I use it on the rest of my body. I was suprised to see a small pack if strips and a few big wooden spatulas and a mini one for the face I assume. I will recommend this definitely. Update 17 October I've successfully used it on my legs and bikini and I would recommend you get two pots to do the whole body. It's definitely less painful than wax strips as I've had to use it when the sugar wax ran out and I felt the difference! And it's value for money as to get a full body wax will set you back on average 40-60 pounds and this pot cost under 10. You just need to allow the time to do it. And learn to be flexible!

WHY DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS BEFORE?
This stuff is amazing and such a simple concept too. You get all you need in the box and both strips as well as the sticks can be used and re-used for ever and ever. I used it twice now on different parts of the body and I was impressed with the results. I actually bought this 4 months ago and never had the courage to use it. I have been waxing for years and years and the pain and hassle of going to a salon never got easier. I read the reviews on this and thought I would give it a go since it was very good priced. When I first pulled the strip, I did not feel anything and I thought I just wasted my money, but as soon as I looked to the strip, I was amazed to see all my hair there!!! I definitely recommend to try sugar waxing. The only thing is to be careful when you put the wax on as it can get very hot even if it does not look like it and hairs must be a certain length to see results, but this is the same for any type of waxing. It smells lovely too...bonus!

Great for beginners like me!
I've never left a review before but thought I would for this product.. there is bound to be someone like me who doesn't have a clue and fancies giving this a go! I went for my first wax at a salon and jumped in the deep end by getting everything done, suffice to say I found the whole thing extremely painful and uncomfortable, it put me off for a while! I have just bought this and as a complete beginner I found it a bit messy (may be because I'm not very good at applying it yet) but super easy to clean up - just use warm water and generally really effective at removing hair. It's also not as painful as the wax I had previously either. I would recommend this product to anyone, particularly someone like me who is a complete beginner at the whole waxing game! The soothing mist is really good too!

beware it is not so easy on coarse hair
Having tried many different hair removal methods I was excited to try this one, however... beware it is not so easy on coarse hair :( I love that the strips are reusable but it really does take a few attempts to get the hair off! Although still as painful as other waxes, I noticed a significant reduction in irritation after waxing, just slight redness which disappears soon after! But no nasty bumps/itchyness or irritation, so for that it is a great product. I think I'll maybe stick to the salon but it was worth a try and does work after a while, though you have to go over the same patch over and over again if you want to get rid of all the hairs which does hurt a bit! Overall, good product and better than other brands I've tried.

messy, does not work on coarse hair, but could be v. good for beginners in the subject
It is hard to reach a perfect temperature of the product, resulting either in scalding or a paste too thick to work well. It is very messy to work with, and does not remove coarse hair well. I tried it as I hate wax residue, but apart of cleaning well enough under hot shower, it does not have many advantages over wax. Might be good to start with if you do not have a wax warmer and are not sure if you will like this adventure.

Brilliant - and BUAV approved
I used to sugar several years ago using The Body Shop's sugaring product. I then used different hair removal methods for a few years, but recently decided to go back to sugaring only to find that TBS had discontinued their range! No problem though, as a quick search on Amazon brought up several alternatives. I chose this Sugar StripEase product as it is BUAV approved, and I liked the look of the packaging. It's really easy to use - just pop it in the microwave for the prescribed time and its the perfect consistency. On first use I achieved better results than I have gotten from my epilator for the past few years. The sugar wax smells yummy, and the strips are good quality and washable - they're not cotton strips, but made out of an interfacing-type fabric. Just put them in some water and the sugar solution soaks away. However, you don't get that many in the box (only 20), so I was pleased I purchased a pack of 100 strips from another seller on Amazon, which as it turned out were made of the same material and so also reusable. Overall, very happy with this purchase and will buy again when necessary.

The wax itself is pretty good but the pot it comes in is pretty ...
Warning pot will melt in microwave. The wax itself is pretty good but the pot it comes in is pretty weak. Im glad I had noticed the hole burned in the bottom side before picking it up or I would have had a nasty burn and scars. Yes! I did follow instructions and I seldom heat it up for more than 45 secs. I would say the container is dangerous
