These LED pen flashlights are very useful and surprisingly bright for their size. The aluminum body feels sturdy and durable, and the clip makes it easy to carry in a pocket or attach to a notebook or bag. They are perfect for inspections, emergencies, or everyday use when you need quick lighting. I also like that the package includes four pens with batteries, so they are ready to use right away. Perfectly sized. Perfectly priced. They use 3 AAA batteries each. No frills; no fuss. Simple on/off push button switch at the top of the tube. No embedded menus. No fancy unnecessary stuff.

I have macular degeneration and extra light is the greatest help when I try to read. These lights are bright, the light is focused and they are so easy to carry with me. I have them all over the house, in the car, in my purse....They are just really one of the handiest tools I have to help see. I have bought other brands but this one just focuses right in on the words vs. flooding the whole page with light and that seems to work best.

My only minor critique, which keeps it from being five stars, is that the battery compartment cap feels a little touchy when screwing it on. Highly recommend for mechanics, technicians, or anyone needing a reliable, compact light source.

The price was right for 4 little pen flashlights that can easily be stored in a glovebox or pocket or purse. They are not super bright, but for size and price, good quality. I do like that they come with a little red dot to protect the battery until you receive the lights. I feel like you could store it in a glovebox and not remove the dot until you need it- and then the battery is protected. Nothing worse than needing something like that and the battery is dead. This is why I wouldn't want a rechargeable one because it'll never be charged when you need it. I also like the simplicity of one button, on and off. I ordered other penlights that are brighter but they have 3 functions: bright, dim and flashing. Why would anyone need a dim flashlight? Maybe to check on a baby? These seem good quality and also would be great stocking stuffers.

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Item arrived just as described. This appears to be a well-made and quality item. Awesome price that includes 2 batteries already inside each of the 4 Flashlights. IMPORTANT NOTE: to protect the batteries lifespan, these flashlights have a tiny red plastic disc inside each one to block the batteries form making contact. Before using the flashlights, unscrew the top and the tiny red disc will fall out, screw top back on and you have light. Also as a warning, the flashlights have a wonderful feature of having a pocket clip snapped onto each of them. But don't do what I did, and yank the flashlight out of the cardboard holder. The pocket clip is snapped onto the cardboard, and instead of ripping the flashlight off the cardboard, you need to slide it off the end of the cardboard. Not a big deal, the clip snapped off the flashlight and stayed attached to the cardboard. It is a spring clip and I just snapped it back onto the flashlight and it was perfect. The light is very bright. Some reviews say the opposite, but you need to realize - a penlight is for up close work. If you need to light up something in a room, grab a full size flashlight. I actually was replacing a 40 year old pen light I kept inside my medicine cabinet for looking into my mouth to spot a sore or maybe into my ear to spot a concern. This penlight is 3 times as bright as my old penlight was. I Recommend. Good Luck.

Great value! I love the fact you get four of these great little lights. Very bright for their size. And convenient with the pocket clip which can be detached. Even came with batteries.

These are *hit or miss* out of the 4, 1 was good, 1 was decent, and the other 2 was ok. The 2 that was *ok* work but sometimes it'll flicker more than the *decent* one... and if you shake it the battery moves. Even with new battery installed sometimes you don't get the full brightness duh to the battery not making full contact. The one that was *good* works good, doesnt make noise when shake, battery doesn't move, the on/off button is smooth and doesnt feel like it stuck when pressing down on it. Oh yeah these can't be drop or it'll breaks the led housing, whatever is holding the led.

Great set of flashlights! I bought a pack so I can put a flashlight in all my major traffic areas. They're low profile, bright and came with batteries! The light themselves is a diffused circle with no clear focus ring. They're so bright that I don't mind they don't act like spotlights. I keep one in my nightstand because its easy to grab and turn on right away instead of fiddling with a cellphone in the dark. This is helpful with mischievous kittens. Plus I'm not afraid to drop a flashlight while fumbling. They're so conveniently sized they pretty much fit anywhere. The clips are convenient even if its so they don't roll away when you set them down. I even use them for inspecting PC parts for my job in IT.

Very bright, nice and slim to fit in a pocket, has held up nicely despite being left loose in the depths of a backpack.
