Quality, heavy duty door closer!
I put this on a metal garage man door that didn't like to close on its own and was a high-traffic door that would often get left ajar/open.Installation was a 5 out of 10 on difficulty.I would recommend adjusting your closing tension screw to mid-way before you install it - that way you don't have to do much turning in an awkward position once it's on the door.Works great - I have it on the inside of a door, so I cannot comment on weather durability, but it looks like an "inside" system to me.Being in a garage, though, the cold of winter (Cleveland, OH) did not affect it's closing speed too much. there was a little slow-down, but it still shut the door.

Better than expected
I ordered this to replace a cheaper door closer that worked well for awhile until recently it started making a loud springing sound whenever it's in action.This door closer on the other hand is much robust and quieter. It took a bit of measuring and remeasuring along with watching couple online videos to settle on the appropriate installation for my door and my preference.The kit comes complete with all necessary hardware and a template to facilitate the installation.Overall it's a good product that I'd recommend.

Works well, easy to install
I used this to replace an older closer in a residential application. With this closer, the door closes smoothly and fully. My door did close well without any tight spots, so I probably didn't provide a huge challenge for the closer.The factory settings were near perfect for my application. I adjusted slightly and have been using it successfully since.

A well-made door closer that will work on doors up to 59 inches with a 330lb maximum door weight. Has good instructions plus a template for installation. An installation video is available from the website. Comes with a five-year warranty.
