Clever
These very strong magnets make it easier to find the nails and other metal components in the studs behind your walls. Run it over the wall and when you get close to a nail, it will snap to that location and stick there. Then you can use the holes in the handle to mark a good spot to drill or drive a nail that is in the same vertical line but above or below the nail you've found. Very simple, and actually more reliable than the fancy electronic stud finder I've been trying to use. You'll need to have a little patience with these, though. For example, running the magnet across from a corner, I never found a nail at all across the whole long wall, where there have to be studs. I just wasn't holding it at a level on the wall where the nails were put into the studs. So you may need to make multiple passes at different heights on the wall until you find a nail. Once you do, though, you're all set. Use the second one to confirm at a different height, and then you'll have the two magnets in their holders sticking to the wall and, hands free, you can see exactly where the stud is.My home has sand-finish plaster over wallboard, and the magnets had no trouble working through those layers. Different types of construction may give you different results, but for me, these are exactly what I needed. I will move forward much more confidently now as I hang pictures, anchor shelves, and other home improvement projects around the house.

Powerful and easy to use
This stud finder is cute and surprisingly powerful! When I got them I was a bit suspicious but when I tested them it was great.so it finds the stud based on the magentic power and the mechanism is straightforward: for each stub it must have nails in. When you move the stuff around it will get attached to the nail and that is how you know there is a stud there.therefore, it is super easy to use: just move around and be patient--- you will find it.The magnetic power is very strong-- see the picture and with the help I put the towel rack on!so it is accurate and easy to use.weak points:Based on the mechanism it is easy for you to figure out--if no nails in the stud (uncommon in the real situation), then you probably had a hard time to find it.also you need to be patient... what I usually do is to knock on the wall a bit to select a large region then use it to finally localize the stud.also put them away from toddlers, and watch, computer, phone etc...

Great magnetic ball stud finders
This is a great set of standard magnetic ball stud finders. Now, calling these "stud finders" is not exactly correct, as what these do is find ferrous metal objects, as it is just ball magnets. The reason it is a stud finder is because when drywall is hung, it is screwed or nailed in to studs, and these magnetics find the screw/nail head that is embedded in the drywall mud, and thus the likely location of a stud. It is a quick and easy method and requires no batteries, not to dissimilar to that of knocking on drywall to find studs. In fact, a great use for these is to specifically find the screw/nail heads for cleaner drywall demo, which is what I use them for. Find the screws, then unscrew them and score the tape and lift out the drywall with minimal dust.

Highly magnetic stud finders for quick, accurate, and safe home installations
ENUODA offers a 2-pack of mini (pocket) sized magnetic ball stud finders that are small, lightweight, extremely magnetic, and value priced for their utility. I have another, similar, magnetic stud finder, that also has the large open hex shape that makes it easy to drill accurately into a hidden stud. Right below the stud ball are three smaller hex shapes that provide a more “clinical” point to mark for that stud (I was able to drill using my smallest drill right through the opening of one of the three smaller hex openings).I like the size of these stud finders but will certainly keep an eye on them because of their size. The great feature is they stick to almost every single metal tool surface so they are unlikely to disappear easily.

Handy item for any toolbag
The ENUODA stud finder wall scanner gets the job done in a very compact and affordable way. I tested this item on several of my drywalls and tile wall in the bathroom. Take your time, moving side to side then up and down. This studfinder was able to find something metal in the wall with it's powerful magnet and it was clearly on a stud. The assorted holes allow you to choose how far away you want to be from the stud. I can see that this would be a very utilitarian gadget for any toolbag. Not only a studfinder, but the powerful magnet can help retrieve metal items up to two pounds of pulling weight. I gave this item 4 stars as some simple directions or at least a description on the product or the storage box would be helpful so you remember what this thing is when you find it in your toolbag.
