The mattress encasement is exactly as described. The quality is very good. We saw no issues with the zipper, it was solid and zipped up with ease. The cover makes no noise. We have not noticed it at all with the sheets on. I'm very sensitive to wrinkles, lumps in the bed and heat. No issues with these concerns. We did follow the advice from another review and used our vacuum to suck the air out. If fits super snug, no wrinkles, no extra fabric. We ordered King 12". The fit was perfect! We had no issue getting the cover on and we have a foam Casper mattress which is very heavy. The way the cover opens 3/4 on both sides made it easy to slip on from the top and work it to the bottom, we were two one on either side. It took all of about 10 minutes. We have not washed it yet so will up date if there are any issues with quality after its washed. I agree with the review that said buy it, don't worry its the best on the market. Very happy with our purchase 100% recommended.

Its hard to find beddings for california king beds. This product is good quality. It is also soft and fit our bed nicely.

Read about the following great feature. We bought a luxury Logan & Cove hybrid mattress in a box. Others complained that the "new mattress" smell was slow to leave. After a week, propped up against the living room wall, there was still a cooked cauliflower smell from the top of this foam/spring bed. Your encasement eliminated that smell (by probably trapping it inside). We were greatly pleased, also, by its ease of insertion because the king size bed was heavy, as I was alone in its assembly. The waterproofing insides allowed this and we are immensely pleased with this silent smell-cancelling product.
