a very well made case...dont know if it will stand up to the road...but for my use and its price can not be beat...lots of latches...lines up just fine to open and close...good storage inside..but not a overly thick padded inside...but still very secure...you will have no problems with this puppy..enjoy

Ok a review on a guitar case seems a bit odd to me, but here we go. I don't take my guitar out of the house much so it doesn't really see much wear. It has plenty of storage and it fits my guitar perfectly. I like that it is Washburn brand to match my guitar. The hinges and locks look like they will hold up well.I like it, but this really comes down to personal preference.

While this case seems a bit under weight from my other OEM guitar cases and the hardware clasps are more what I expected from an economy case, it does look good and my guitar fits snug and secure. While I am sure that most companies do not manufacture their own hard shell guitar cases, my thought was that Washburn would only put their name on a product that lives up to a certain standard. The pictures attached show the nice appearance and a good fit but also show the hardware in comparison to both a Martin and a Fender acoustic case. With that said however, the guitar is secure and protected more than a gig bag or no case at all. There are better cases but I wanted to get a "Washburn" case for my "Washburn" guitar

I recently acquired a Washburn HD100SWECK-D and needed a case for it. So I figured I'd go with the one from Washburn. The quality of this case was poor. It was flimsy, and when I put the guitar in the case it did not fit easily and then I could not close the case as the top did not align correctly. I was able to get it to close but it was not the way it should be. Cases should open and close easily, also there should be no difficulty getting the guitar into the case, it should be firm fit but the guitar should not change the shape of the guitar case. As a prime member for years, ordering through Amazon has been a ninety plus percent success rate! Regarding this guitar case, I read the reviews that point out what I too now get to point out about this "economy" most likely a knock off guitar case.I felt I needed to let you know upfront what I received straight out of the box before I even entered my home. Like a lot of other critical reviews, I too received the minor dents and dings.Overall looks, at a glance out of the box appears to be an acceptable hard shell guitar case. As you begin to look at the details inside and out, especially in the sunshine, a few flaws become easily apparent as revealed by my photos. Is it a deal breaker? Depends on how perfect you want this case to be. It IS a hard shell guitar case that should offer reasonable protection overtime. Understand that I t is a light to a medium duty case at best. The nicks, dents, and scratches right out of the box, although not glaring, are evident of poor, careless quality control and should not be there.As well, the logo stenciled on the case does not match Washburn's logo. Similar somewhat, but not Washburn's signature. I'm aware because I'm a graphic artist and logos are a very distinctive look to product personality.Inside, there's adequate padding, all put in place with just a hint of crudeness. Again, adequate maybe, but not perfect in appearance.Overall, this case was put together quick to add a logo (or not) at a "reasonable?" price to make some quick money. "Selling fake watches out of the trunk of a car."For me, I'm ok with it as it will only serve to sit quietly until playtime. Overall "appearance" at a glance in a corner will do. If I were traveling a lot or doing shows, this case would not be acceptable. No doubt that it won't hold up to rigorous use.Light duty is fine with me, but I'm going to shop a bit more and see if there is a more authentic case, Amazon or not. If not, I can live with this semi handsome chocolate brown case keeping the dust and scratches off my new Washburn acoustic without a whole lot of worries. I'm very qualitative about most everything, but in this case, a Rolex is not necessary. The back alley out of the trunk watch will do.

Sturdy, enough cushiony padding that protects the guitar. I actually have my 12 string comfort series Washburn Acoustic in it and it is perfect. Hardware is made of Chrome plated material better than the brass plated material. Strong and at the same time not as heavy as other guitar cases made of the same material. Love it and price is reasonable. Washburn cases are hard to come by. If you see one online go for it.

The case itself is great. However, I’m disappointed that the way it was packaged allowed for it to be damaged in transit. Wrapped in a single thin plastic wrap. And there was only one left, so I have opted to keep it due to the quality of its build. Very plush inside and secures my guitar firmly.
