Can you add food coloring without messing it up?

We found that the gel food coloring worked really good. My daughter added too much of the regular food coloring to one and it started to react.

Can an 11 year-old do this on her own?

These kits were designed for people from ages 3 to 113 in mind!  If your 11 year old can make a batch of chocolate chip cookies, this recipe will be something she can do on her own!  It is a fantastic tactile experience and seeing the wonder and amazement from the young ones is priceless.  There is a great satisfaction when one make something by themselves.      I emailed the owner of the company and was told that the ingredients are all natural and organic is used when possible, so they are safe for your skin in moderate amounts.  General rule of thumb is that pure essential oils should not be applied directly on the skin.   You will want to add into your bath bomb mixture directly instead.  I used the gloves included to keep my ring shiny, and to keep my manicure last as long as possible.

How do I pop the plastic plug in your essential oil bottle provided?  I love a strong scented bath bomb and wanted to use the whole vial of the scents

I hooked my finger nail under the rim of the plastic plug and it popped right off. You could probably use a knife to pry it off if need be. This kit was a delight to use and I can't wait to give them out to all my neighbors!

I originally got the basic kit which came with Lavender, Lemon, Eucalyptus and Grapefruit.  I loved making them so much that I purchased the Deluxe Kit next which came with Lavender, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Grapefruit PLUS Geranium, Marjoram, Peppermint and Lime plus a reusable metal sphere bath bomb molder.What I love about these bath bomb making kits more than all the others is that they are more than just cheap scents.. they are 100% essential oils, which means that while I am soaking, my skin is absorbing healing oils rather than absorbing nasty chemicals that also happen to smell nice.I'm not some over the top fanatic when it comes to this stuff either... but if I'm going to take the time to make my own bath bombs and if it is something that is going to be absorbed into my body, why not have it be something that is healthy, healing and therapeutic vs another kit that is potentially harmful?I might be a bit biased as I have already purchased 3 of these for myself and 3 more as gifts for friends and family since amazon makes it so easy to deliver to anyone you want... and I plan on sending more as it's the perfect price range for my gift giving budget and I ALWAYS get a "wow, this is so awesome" response to anyone I send it to.One thing to note: this never happened with the 3 kits I purchased for myself.  But 1 of the kits I gave as a gift, my friend told me that 2 of the essential oil bottles leaked... haha she said it smelled really really nice when the UPS man arrived to deliver, but when she opened the package over half the little essential oil dram bottle was missing.If this happens, don't freak out and just contact their support.  My friend did and in less than 24 hours they responded and new replacement bottles were already on their way to her.  As I said, this didn't happen to me, but on the rare occasion it does happen.. just let their customer support know about it before racing to leave a 1 star review on what is really an incredible fun and good for you product and unique gift.Oh, and I store my in mason jars.. it gives a really cool presentation look and very economical as I already had a few extra mason jars lying around my house. Hope this helps!
