Washable Pre Motor Filter for DYSON DC58 DC59 V6 V8 Animal Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

This was a great purchase. After contacting Dyson to tell them that my hoover was no longer working (it would keep pulsating), they came back to me saying that they would need to arrange a service repair which would cost £99 and take several weeks to get it back. I ordered this new filter and it worked a dream! My hoover now works better than ever and I saved a fortune on a service repair. Very pleased.

The filter arrived on time and fitted perfectly in the cleaner and all works well now. I would buy it again.

It fits my V6 and suction remains good as the original (and often cleaned) Dyson filter.It's always handy to have a spare, so you can use the vacuum while the other filter is drying after washing. I find the airing cupboard ideal.PS: I've only been to Sheerness once, for the ferry to The Netherlands, so I don't feel competent to rate it ("Sheerness" is one of the categories alongside "Suction power" and "Value for money"; I have no idea what it means in the context of a vacuum filter 🤔).

This filter was exactly what I wanted for my Dyson cleaner that had stopped working properly. The item arrived on time and is reasonably priced. Would definitely order again.

Perfect replacement for our blocked one. I realise it says washable, and we have kept the old one as a spare that we washed but at this price we figured just grab a new one. Our Dyson just kept cutting out a few seconds after pulling the trigger. If I took this filter out it was ok. Good fix
