excellent, perfect for rice, but that sticker is hard to come out...they need to do better with that sicker

Perfect Rice
Received mine today. The 4QT is perfect for me. I primarily got this Caldero to cook rice since I haven’t perfected it in any other pot/pan, always comes out mushy with a burned bottom. My rice came out cooked evenly and PERFECT this evening, my 5 year old son even had a second serving of the rice. I’ll definitely be purchasing another. My only complaint is the sticker on the front of the pot is hard to remove in one piece so it left part of the sticker/adhesive on it - this can be resolved by applying cooking oil over the stuck adhesive, let it sit for about 10 minutes then gently wash off with a sponge/soap. Repeat if needed.

The pot itsself is good but the plastic label removal is the worst
This would have recieved 5 stars but for the Label on the outside of the pot that peeled off leaving the adhesive backing to the labe; remaining on the pot and having to go through a huge amount of trouble to get it off. The pot itsself is good but the plastic label removal is the worst

Thin and mark up after first use
I do like these pans, and was super excited when I opened the package. However, right after the first time cooking with it the metal started to discolor and mark up. I use a very gentle sponge on my new pans as well as dry them right away. Don't like how they looked after my first use. But I continue to use them and they do work really well.

Excellent quality as well as heavy duty
Excellent quality as well as heavy duty ;it is just the type of pot I was looking for. While I have not had time to use this pot it looks to be an excellent product. The pot is well constructed, and has a bit of weight yet manageable and looks great.

Best for arroz y gandules
I am used to Magnalite aluminum pans but too expensive these days. This pan has very good heat distribution and is excellent for rice and beans. Glass lid is a nice feature. Great buy for the price.

Cannot cook acidic foods in this pot
This pot stains, the handles get as hot as the pot. For the price I find it would have been better to invest a little more for a stainless steel version. Also the return window closed too quick before I had a chance to use the cookware and now I am out the cost. Decided to purchase stainless. Don,t waste your money!

I used this almost everyday, I cook a lot of rice recipes in my house and this caldero cooks my rice without a problem. 👍🏼
