Great but short lived
These things are great, and really fun in low light. Smack the crap out of em, they don't break. Feathers stay on too.Only complaint is that you cant change the battery and the ones included last about 3 hours. So basically after one night of playing, your LED shuttlecock is now just a regular shuttlecock. If they lasted a little longer that would be great. Red LEDs consume the least amount of power and our red one lasted about 3.5-4 hours before the LED started flickering. After that it pretty much died. For less than 20 bucks I cant complain. Like I said, when the LED dies you still have a good shuttlecock, it just doesn't light up anymore. If they would put in a way to let you install a new battery that would be great, but with coin cells it's probably cheaper to buy a new set of these. All in all, a nice novelty, great for kids or adult drinking parties in the evening. Just dont expect these to last you all summer. It's essentially 1 night of use before death.

Decent Quality
We bought these shuttlecocks for use at and after dusk they work well, and do make it easier to pick it up in flight, some other reviews indicated they went dead fairly quickly, we have been using a red and a green they both still light up brightly after several uses. Our experience has been that the feathers on the shuttlecocks are starting to look pretty battered after several nights use, for the price these work pretty well, they are a little heavier but not significantly more than a standard shuttlecock.

Cheap, fall apart, sad LED
These are horribly cheap, the led is so faint that you can really only see it in room without any light (as opposed to at dusk playing outside)

Love the product! Lights Up the night! A great experience!
This is a Buy once a year product for me i guess. Unless a better quality comes along. We play Bat Mitten A lot! And after this summer using only at night maybe 1 or 2 don't flicker out anymore. Besides that it it amazing! Loved lighting up the night sky and us all seeing how high and far we can hit it in the air! Great item! Bright colors! VERY fun! But be sure to have a yard light of some kind to help light the ground and area.

I loved them.
I loved them...they are a little heavy than normal ones but that's what makes it go higher and further away as you hit them...so I like them...and gorgeous lights too...

These are so much fun!
I purchased some of these summer of 2018, we absolutely love playing glow badminton! The only issue was if you hit it too hard the light would turn off. When I ordered a new batch of these for the 2019 summer they have since updated the design of activating the lights and we have had no issues of the lights turning off. These things are so much fun!

Love the concept but horrible quality
We love to play badminton and during summer it's cooler to play after dark so I thought this was a great item to buy. My husband prefer feather birdies so that's what I got. The whole family loved playing with it at night. But we realized quickly this would not work. Just after one round the feathers broke or became rugged. We went through them so quickly and now we don't have any good ones to play with. Definitely not 50 hours of play like it described. I also read an article recently that the feathers could be plucked from live birds which sounds cruel so we will definitely choose nylon from now on.

Fun and decent, but not great, quality
We got these birdies for a little fun novelty when playing badminton outside in our backyard. The birdies use real feathers and, therefore, are a bit more prone to breakage than a plastic birdie. However, I was pretty impressed that the weight of the birdie doesn't seem hugely impacted by having a light embedded in them. They are certainly heavier than most plastic backyard birdies, but we've actually found this to be a benefit - especially on a windy day. After some stiff hits, the lights sometimes shut off, but so far they have always come back on after flipping the switch off and on.If you purchase them, I'd anticipate that you'll run through their life fairly quickly if you're playing hard. But if you're just leisurely hitting them back and forth, they seem plenty durable.
