I’ve been using them for my work boots. as well as just a set of every day shoes, the laces hold up really well as I like to pull my laces quite tight because I work with water so I don’t want water getting in my boots and I find these laces are easy to pull and do pull quite tightly, which is quite nice without damaging them. They’re a great colour blending with my shoes quite nicely even though my shoes look a bit aged and the laces look almost brand-new but they’re great colour they’re very comfy as well and they fit straight through I’ve got weirdly shaped metal loops instead of holes on my shoes and they they fit quite well through the holes and hold tightly

**Q: whats the width?**
A: Hi,they are round laces,probably 8mm in girth.hope this helps.

**Q: Are these likely to be spark proof? I do a lot of angle grinding and the sparks tend to shear my laces quite easily**
A: These laces are made from mixed fibres, they are strong but nylon melts quite easily if exposed to heat, as you know.
So they are not spark proof.

**Q: How thick are these?**
A: Approximately 4mm but very very strong

**Q: Are these waxed what is the inside made from**
A: I don’t know, but they went stretchy and thin very quickly, but they are cheap.

Great shoelaces, they hold up quite well.
