HQRP Rotary Switch 4-Position 3-Speed 120V-250V, 10A Fan Heater Speed Selector

I had to modify it to fit my needs, but worked perfectly. The button was a bit larger than the one replaced, so I had to cut the perimeter, but the switch wires went in easily. Good solution to avoid replacing an 80 dollar fan. It turns smoothly.

The fan got damaged, we used this switch, and NOW we have air😁happy with my purchase

Good quality fan switch

Worked for Hampton Bay floor fan (wire cage design). *Swap Red wire with White wire (from original switch positions 1 & 3) to maintain Off / Low / Med / High order. Otherwise matching OEM switch #ers wire positions will produce Off / High / Med / Low - which you might prefer. Connections are 'tang' style push in connections. Some of you may need to take a thin (stronger than needle) point to depress them for weak wire to insert. The new switch thread ferule / bushing, for mounting locking nut, was a larger diameter than existing control box cut out. You can dremel, file, metal opening slightly wider (on flat sections) to insert larger switch thread. It may be a good idea to oil your fan motor through the tiny v mouth on both sides of fan motor with a few drops of machine oil while your at it.

Works ok but the knob needs a set screw to hold it on.

Works great, hat to file out a very small amount of metal to ensure a smooth fit. You don't want to be rough putting this in because you may damage plastic threads. The only down side is the white position line on the switch will not line up with the off, low, medium, high selections. It doesn't matter because it still selects the speeds you want, it just doesn't align with this fan. Most important part of this is the wires slide into the slots so there is no soldering required. Just use a small nail to push down on the copper to remove each wire from your old switch. Before you remove the wires write down the wiring color to the corresponding number on the switch. For the Master Fan it's Black wire to L port, red wire to port 3, white wire to port 2 and blue wire to port 1. I suspect this order applies to all 4 wire switches. So for my fan off is technically on the high fan speed selection and it then moves beyond that for additional speeds.

Low quality switch. Push in terminal/connections very loose using 12 gauge solid copper wire. Was not able to use it for a multi-speed blower motor.

this a 4 wires switch replacing the same. just swap the wires, configure a good fit and done, happy with results

I'm a licensed electrician and in my opinion this is a very cheap product. Cheap push in connections that barely hold the wire. Doubtful it will last very long. Feels like made in China stuff you would get from ebay or alibaba.

I used this product to do a switch swap on a fan from the 70s or 80s and if fit perfectly.. no modifications to the metal frame or anything
