Terrible the first day we used them at the beach they all broke
All shovels broke within 15 min on the beach ! The sand was dry so it wasn't heavy . I threw them all out 30 minutes after using them

Had to build.
No predrilled hole for the screws, have to build these. But once done they are awesome!

Breaks easily
It's hard to tell from the listing that these shovels arrive in many small pieces with plastic joints holding them together. They're easy to assemble. But the joints are weak, so the shovels come apart immediately as my kids dig. I should have returned these before using them, as they don't work at all and are a waste of money. I would NOT recommend these.

Great kid's shovel
We got these for our kids with a metal detector. They're perfect. They are a nice durable shovel that will be great for the sand or soft dirt.

Wood is low quality
The wood is very soft and when it got wet it stopped being able to stay tight in the plastic screws that allow one to extend it. Probably best for very little kids and only if you don’t plan to change the length that often.
